Meta Heroes (Barry Allen/The Flash)

Chapter 1

My name is Alex Quest and I am the hottest woman alive. And coldest. And windiest. Windiest? Is that even a word? Whatever I'm the windiest screw you.

Anyway, 11 months ago S.T.A.R. Labs built a particle accelerator and it exploded the night they turned it on. This explosion created things unexplainable. Gave people powers, and I am one of those people.

Ever since I was a kid, I've been obsessed with the elements. With fire, ice or water, the earth or dirt or stone, wind. I was obsessed with electricity, figuring out how it worked, watching it, touching it (It hurts. Don't try this at home kids), everything you could think of. I was in love with it. And that night I was turned into a meta. I could control and produce water, ice, fire, earth, wind, and electricity.

By day, I am an ordinary Sketch artist, by night, I secretly use my powers to fight crime and....... Other stuff... I don't know.

"BARRY ALLEN. GET YOUR SKINNY ASS AWAY FROM MY FOOD."

"I'M SORRY. DON'T HIT ME." He screamed back in fear.

"Just because you're my best friend doesn't mean you get to eat my food without asking."

"Well, would you let me eat your food with asking?"

"Absolutely not. You knew the answer even before you asked."

We were hanging out at Joe's house waiting for Iris to get there and make us dinner. I always have secret stash of food in my purse. Barry is one of the only ones who knows of it.

Barry and I have been friends since we were 11. Flashback to when we first met.

I'm walking through the hall of the middle school. I see Barry Allen. His dad just murdered his mom. I walk up behind him and tap his shoulder. He turns around swiftly almost like he was scared of who I was.

"I'm really sorry for your loss, Barry" He looks at me with relief and gratitude.

"Thanks. Most people say 'I'm sorry your dad's a murderer'"

I was shocked. How could anyone be so rude to him? My mouth hung slightly open. Barry just nodded his head.

2 days later I saw him sitting alone at lunch. I walked over and sat next to him.

"Is anyone sitting here?"

Ever since then we've been best friends.

"Yes. Yes I did." Barry said breaking me out of my trance.

I tackle Barry to the couch screaming about not taking my food and hitting him with pillows. Soon, I got tired and just laid on him while laughing. Iris then decided to open the door and see us sorta snuggling.
