I'm Done

The "Pre Party"

The car pulled into the parking lot of the arena.

"Drop us off around the back mom" Tara said "we don't want to get caught in the rush."

The car came to a stop in front I the back doors. Tara Brooklyn and I jumped out if the car and walked through the doors. The dance was in this big room above the arena but everyone was waiting downstairs until the doors opened.

The back hallway was a ramp and it was empty so we walked around to the tables in the main area. They were plastic picnic tables and most if them had people at them so we decided to stand.

"C'mon." Tara said as she leaded me back around to the ramp. We lost Brooklyn somewhere in the process.

There was a metal railing going up the middle I the ramp and now, there was two people sitting on it with their backs to us. Tara ran up to them and gave them each a hug.

"Emma, this is Jake and Megan." Tara said.

Jake looked like an average guy. Short black hair and he wasn't too tall. He was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt and worn out jeans with his hands in his pockets.

Megan however, looked nothing like a girl, except for her hair... A little. She was wearing bright red DC high tops, dark blue jeans and a white and orange striped sweater. She had shaggy light brown hair that nearly made it down to her shoulders. The one thing that caught my eye though, was her Toronto blue jays hat. If Tara didn't say her name was Megan, I would have thought she was a guy.

I said hi to both of them and Tara and Megan started talking about a ton of things from when they went to school together. I was totally lost.

When Brooklyn finally showed up again, I had someone to talk to.

"So uhh, you went to school with Tara?" I said

"Yeah I miss her a lot but not as much as Megan. She is devastated." Said Brooklyn "But we have a lot of other friends that you will see tonight. They're really crazy so you better watch yourself."

We both started laughing.

"I think I can handle it." I said back.

"Oh my god we need to go find Kenzie!" Screamed Megan and her and Jake ran to the front doors. I have heard that name before. Anna would always make fun of her, saying that she was fat. Of course I laughed because it was funny but I never met her so I wouldn't know.

Tara and Brooklyn followed them so I did too. As I walk around the corner I see Megan pretty much mauling this girl I'm guessing is Kenzie. She is EXTREMELY tall - taller than everyone around her. She is kind of heavy but I wouldn't call her fat. She was wearing short shorts with a pink tank top. She has straight brown hair that is just past her shoulders.

She lead all of us to the bottom of the stairs. I was practically clinging to Tara because I was so nervous and I didn't know anyone there. The line up slowly moved up the stairs until we made it to the top.

The chick that was letting people in pointed at the group of people I was in and we all walked into this room where we had to pay. I handed my sweater to the coat check person and bought my ticket. Tara grabbed my arm and pulled me to the door. I have my ticket to the lady and walked inside.

So that's the end of chapter two! Ill get chapter three up as soon as I finish it. Stay alive ;)
