Chapter 6: "Girls" Night Out

"I know!" Jess said with a smug look on her face.

'Oh great the cheater has an idea.'

'Did I just think that?'

'Yes you did!'

'Look who's back again.' 

"Ok, where?" Emily asked.

"To the park." Jess replied.

"Why the park?" I asked.

"Because, I got a new dog and it's fun to take her there." 

"You have a dog? When was I gonna be told this?" I asked.

"Oh right. I didn't tell you. Well.. Kevin got it for me." She replied.

"Oh great." I mumbled.

"Wait, guys, I gotta better idea. Lets go to beach." Emily said.

"But the beach is like five hours away. Will never make it back in time for school tomorrow." Melissa said.

"So will just ditch a day." Emily said shrugging her shoulders.

"Ok, but will have to tell Justin and Erik." I said.

Once we told them where we were going they both wanted to come with us. Then a heard the door bell ring. 

"Oh great." I said while going to answer the door. 

"Hi!" Justin said walking in. "I'm coming to the beach with you guys."

"Ask Emily." I mumbled.

"Emily! Eme! Emmy!" Justin said. "Can I come to the beach with you guys. I have a beach house there." 

"You have a beach house?" Jess interrupted. 

"Yeah." Justin replied.

"Ok.' Emily said. "You can come, but bring only one person." 

"Ok. I'll just bring Erik then." Justin said calling Erik.

"Well lets go we still have to stop at your houses." I said. "Will pick up Erik after."

When everyone got there stuff and we picked up Erik we drove to the beach.

-Ring Ring-

Emily answered the phone and put it on speaker, because it was her Ex.

"Hello." She said.

"Hi Emily." Mike said. "I need to tell you something." 

"Ok, what?" She asked.

"I want yo-" He started.

Before I could hear what he said she took the phone off of speaker.

"No." She said before hanging up the phone. 

"What was that about?" I asked already knowing

"Oh, you know he just broke up with his girlfriend and wanted me back and stuff." She said shrugging her shoulders again. "I said no." 

"Oh, ok." Melissa said just because she was bored.

I then turned on the radio and Melissa had the sudden urge to sing whatever came on. Even when I turned it off just to see her reaction she didn't notice. So I put it back on. Everyone laughed and all Melissa did was say , "What?" After about four more hours we were finally there. It was late though. Once we got there I checked my phones and noticed ten missed calls and texts from Megen. 

-Where are you?-

-Mom and Dad are coming home tonight.- 

-Get home I can't cover for you.-
