A year and a half has gone by since i've been in California and i'm now 14 almost 15 years old now. Riley is on tour now since he is in Before You Exit. I know that girls would love to be in my possision and fangirl over them but I don't see then as being famous. I just see them as the normal people that i've grown up with. It's a special tour for them since Toby just recently joined the band and it's his first time on tour. Honestly i could care less about that. I'm just excited that they are coming to LA for a show! This means that i get to see Riley again!
The show was only in a few days and i couldn't wait! My aunt was super nice and bought me 2 tickets to see the show. Riley doesn't know that i'm coming so it'll be a suprise. I was going to go with my new bestie Keanna who is giant Exiter but, i haven't told her that i'm friends with them. I guess that she'll find out about that at the show. Keanna hair collor is simmaller to mine and is quite long about 5 inches under the shoulder past the chest. Today is thursday and the show is this Saturday.
The doorbell rang which ment that Keanna was here. I was wearing white skinny jeans and a mint green sweater with a white cross. i had a matching coordinated floral bag and brown combat boots. Keanna was wearing a grey shirt with black sleeves, some light skinny jeans, some black studded hidden wedges with a matching black studded small over the shoulder hand bag, along with silver angel feather earrings. "Hey Gurls! Ready to go shop till we drop!?" she said while hugging me.
"Ya, Lego" i said while quickly hugging her back and jumping into the passanger front seat of the car.
Keanna was 4 years older then me about which people usually think is wierd. Older people usually don't like to hang with the younger people but in reality we barely even notice. Keanna is 18 so she can drive. She hopped in the driver's seat and buckled up. I really missed my best friend Chase from back home but Keanna kind of filled in that gap a bit making me feel better.
When we arrived at the mall we imediatly went to Forever 21. My favorite store! Typically people don't think i'm 14. You can ask people to geuss my age they usually say like 17 or 18. Which can be good at times ;) Me and Keanna spent hours and hours in Forever 21 since it is ginormous. We tried on dozens and dozens of outfits. I really could care less about what i wore to the concert, i just couldn't wait to see Riley and Connor and Joan and (ughh aka Toby) again!
There was so much to try on i couldn't decide which outfit to choose. I am considered normal size. My mom use to always joke around with me and tell me how jealous she was since i could eat anything and not gain weight. I'm trypically size small or extra small and Keann was around my same size just a little shorter. She was about 5'5", practically 5'6' but when she wore here hidden wedges we were about the same height.
After trying on almost everything in the store it was time to pick are out fits. i picked mine. I got sorta high waisted light was polka dotted pants with a floral bandue, a matching orange bag and teal boots. Keanna picked out Black and White vertically stripped pants, with a vintage styles black and white jack daniels tank top, a studed bracelet and black boots with a studed cross. (Outfits on the side)
Once we purchased our outfits we got some dinner subway and headed home. I slurpped on my baja mt. dew blast as we drove and my phone buzzed. It was Riley. He was calling. Keanna looked at me and i looked down at the phone.
"Who's that" Keanna asked.
"Oh nobody it's just my mom calling" Keanna didn't know that my aunt Jenny wasn't my mom. I haven't exactly told her the story either. i don't know when to tell her but hopefully soon.
"Shouldn't you answer it then, hahaha"
"Oh ya right hahaha" i laughed nervously not knowing what to do so i just pressed accept. I quickly put the phone to my ear and rushed out a sentence.
"Hey mommy, were are almost home i'll talk to you later bye" i said loudly into the phone.
Before i hung up i heard Riley go "huh". i felt bad but i didn't want to tell Keanna.
"Well that was weird. Something wrong?" Keanna asked
"hahaha nothing it was just my mom"
"hahah okay then, well we are here! See ya Saturday. I'll come over around 1 so we can get ready. Bye Bestie" Keanna said as she leaned over and gave me a hug.
"hahah bye, can't wait! " i said while hugging her back.
"Oh and thanks for driving me!" i yelled to her before she pulled out of the drive way.
"No problamo girly see ya sayurday!" she yelled back.
I put the key in the door and walked inside. I said goodnight to my auntie giving her a hug and went up to my room. I thought to myself while i was in bed. "How is Riley going to react to the truth?" "How is Keanna going to react to the truth?!" "how is she going to react when she finds out i'm best friends with her Favorite band?!" I decided to stop thinking and just go to sleep. Tommarrow i had school and then it would be the day of the concert. Probably going to be an amazing and terrible day all at the same time.
