Armour up: the armour of God

I thing armour is pretty cool. We got a helmet, breast plate, shied and sword. You probably know where I'm going with this. The armour of God.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 lPut on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the 2wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against mprincipalities, against powers, against nthe rulers of 3the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 oTherefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand pin the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, qhaving girded your waist with truth, rhaving put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 sand having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking tthe shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And utake the helmet of salvation, and vthe sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

•belt of truth. Be truthful!
Eps. 4:15 says speak the truth in love. So be honest and be kind. Tell Gods truth to others and live his truth.

•breastplate of righteousness. Are you doing what God has asked of you? If you died right now and stood before God would you be confident or defensive and guilty?

•shield of faith. I know, here's the hard one. Do you trust God fully? I know I don't always. Giving everything to God is hard. I haven't given him everything yet. I want to but there is a bit of a trust issue. But have faith!

•helmet of salvation. Are you saved? Do you believe fully that God is all knowing? That Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead?

•sword of the spirit. Who is God? Do you have an answer if someone asked? Do you know Gods word? Get out in the world and share his word.
