It is confirmed that Belarus can see ghosts. This is usually spread as a rumor throughout the nations, though no one has asked her about it because, well, she is terrifying. Although strangely enough, Italy is the one closest to asking. Every time at a world meeting, Italy would try to get the courage to ask her that one question that has burned in the back of his mind, "do you see Holy Roman Empire?" He would always be terrified to ask, not just because she is scary, but because what if she didn't? What if he moved on without saying goodbye?
