I live in a moderate sized town.

But I have yet to run into you somewhere
for about six or seven months.

You've been seeking cover
within the zip code.

The thought that you were thinking of me
to the point of applying yourself
is a real;
treat, disaster, blessing?
I don't know.

No one has been that opinionated with me in a while.

They've believed that I was too fragile
to tell their true thoughts to.

One almost told me their thoughts.
One was only interested in attention.
And the last was only looking for physical needs.

But you,
you told me as the first thing you said,
which was surprising.

You've been seeking cover
within the zip code.

Authors note: I had something better planned for this title, but I couldn't mend the pieces together. This will have to do.
