You used to call me every time I left your house, to make sure I got home safe.
Why don't you do that?
Why don't we hang out anymore?
I'm so glad that your family is doing well, and I really wish to see them.
Why haven't we seen each other in so long?
Why does your mom constantly tell me that she misses seeing me at meets and birthday parties, but you don't?
Why does your sister, who has to balance her schoolwork at college, text me and ask how I'm doing all the time, but you can't send a simple "hey"?
Why don't you acknowledge me in class anymore?
I'm glad that you didn't ignore me when I came to your wrestling meets.
Or track meets.
Or football games.
Why don't we seem like best friends, even though we have the memories of them?
Why?
