Chapter 17

Last to know
Gracie's pov
Oww... Where am I? I sat up and rubbed my head.
"Your okay." A voice said. I looked and saw Jonah's son Theo.
"What do you want from me?" I ask.
"I have already found the one I'm destined to be with. But, she is quite a few years younger than me so my father says I have to mate you." He says.
"You won't mate me. I have a mate who is the only one I want to mate me." I said. He nods.
"My dad is going to have people make sure we are mated by the end of the week." He says grimacing.
"Why were you so mean to me?" I asked confused.
"My dad made me. I didn't want to be rude to you.. I liked you." He said. I felt an agonizing pain in my back and abdomen. I whimpered.
"I want my mate." I whisper in pain. I hear a girl scream and Theo runs out. I search for my phone ; when I find it I look for Nathan's number.
Grace: I'm safe. Don't worry.
He immediately replies.
Nathan: where are you?
Grace: I'm not sure, all I know is I'm safe.
Nathan: if someone hurts you I will kill them.
Grace: apparently I have to mate with Theo.
Nathan: over my dead body. I won't allow it, it will only be me who makes you feel any pleasure and make you scream. You will bear my mark on your neck and carry my pups.
My heart swelled.
Grace: relax, we both don't want that to happen so it won't. I'm sorry I hear him coming. Good bye
Nathan: NO! Wait, I will find you if it's the last thing I do.
I shut my phone off and re-hide it. Theo comes in with a little girl in his arms.
"Gracie, this is my mate Madison. She is 13 so that's why we aren't allowed to be with each other." He says as Madison smiles and waved at me.
"Hello." She says shyly.
"Hello, I'm Gracie." I greeted ignoring all pain in my body.
"Are you alright?" She asks her voice coming out very timid and scared.
"Umm... Yeah just missing my mate and I guess I don't heal as quickly as you guys." I say giggling.
"You will be able to see your mate again. I will make sure of it." Theo says. It really shocked me. He was being really nice to me. My face must have lit up because Madison started giggling.
"Have you told him that your safe?" She asks. I nod my head.
"I'm sorry." I say looking up at Theo. He chuckled.
"It's fine. I'm glad you told him your safe. You can keep your phone with you so you can talk to him." I grabbed my phone and smiled at him.
"How long before I will be able to see Nathan again?"
"A couple months at least." My face fell.
"Really?" I ask tears escaping my eyes. I quickly wipe them. I can't cry here. I have to stay strong for Nathan.
~ December 10th 2012 ~
It has been almost two months since I was kidnapped and last seen my mate. Every once in a while I would send Nathan a text and he would freak so I refrained from doing so.
Today was the day I would finally be able to see him again. I had my first shift and my wolf had come in. Her name was autumn; she was very laid back and stubborn. She tells me that our power is inflicting pain and willpower. 'I can't wait to see my mate again.' She said. 'I'm afraid.' I admitted. 'Why?' 'I don't know what I would do if Nathan doesn't want me anymore.' She whimpers. 'Don't say that they want us.' 'It could be true.' She blocks me out.
Some wolf I have... I put all my things in my back pack. I made a journal of everything that had happened since I had been here. Halloween was awesome. My 16th birthday sucked because I had went into heat. I had to think of different ways to ease the pain. During that time I had dyed my hair light pink, light blue and light purple. I also got it cut and wrote some songs. There was so much to write about. I wrote about Theo and Madison's love for each other. How I missed Nathan a lot and just things in general. I was wearing a leopard print long sleeve shirt, leather jacket, dark wash jeans, black and gold studded high heel sneakers. My nails were blue, my lips were pink and my eyes were smokey. I straightened my hair and put my stuff in my back pack. I slipped on my treble clef necklace Madison got me for my birthday. I guess Theo told her and the pack and I got a lot of presents. I said goodbye to all of them and hopped in the car.
"Are you ready?" Theo asks. I nod.
"Yeah as I'll ever be." I said looking out the window trying to calm my nerves down.
When we got there I saw dad (big kev) I gave him a giant hug and ran inside. I stood at the side of the stage.
"Okay! So, two months ago as many of you heard we lost Gracie, she was gone. We don't know where she is but Nathan would like to sing a song in her honour." Tom said and a melody starts playing. 'Let it roll.. Let it roll right off your shoulders don't you know the hardest part is over. Let it in let your clarity define you in the end we will only just remember how it feels. Our lives are made in these small hours.'I walked out and everyone screams. I look at Nathan and let out a small sob. He continues to sing until Tom nudges him and points to me. Nathan hands Tom his mic and runs over to me scooping me up in his arms. I sob into his shoulder.
"Please don't ever leave me again. I was so scared." He sobs.
"I promise." I whisper my voice wobbling because of my crying. He looks me in the eyes and kisses me. The crowd and boys cheer. He pulls away and smile.
"Your eyes... They have purple in them." He says.
"Thanks to my wolf." I say and he kissed me again.
"Well would you look at that.. She's back." Jay says. I pull away and look at the boys before hugging each of them.
"I missed you all." I say looking at them.
"We missed you to.. We all did." Max said gesturing to the crowd. I smiled and left the stage. Jayne and Connor were there. They each gave me a hug.
"So, we have some news." Connor says.
"What is it?" I ask.
"We need you to go back into the studio starting tomorrow. Because a certain country artist asked if you wanted to come on tour with her and her opening act. The man saw you preform in California and referred you to her." Jayne said.
"Who are they?" I ask the suspense killing me.
"Carrie Underwood and Hunter Hayes."
"NO WAY!!" I scream. "That's awesome how many songs do I need to record before I go?" I ask.
"About twelve.. Enough for your album."
"An album?"
"Yeah.. We will discuss it later tonight and tomorrow all I know is that you need to be ready to work twelve hours tomorrow." She said.
"Okay." I said. I found you came on and I watched them preform. As I listened to Nathan's voice I became hot and bothered. It had a sense of sexiness that autumn and I loved. I saw him smile ad the boys looked at me with a knowing look. They could probably smell how turned on I was. Which to be honest was very gross. Nathan began dancing very suggestively. When his solo came up I thought I was gonna faint. When the concert finished I had calmed down and the boys had calmed down from their adrenaline rush. They all had a shower and all were out except Nathan.
"Can you go and check on Nathan?" Siva asked. I nod.
"Sure." I say and he smirks. I went into Nathan's dressing room. There he was topless. I couldn't help but gap at him. He smiles and walks closer to me. His eyes darken as he looks me in the eyes.
"I've missed you so much love." He says capturing my lips in a kiss. I sigh and so does Autumn. He presses me against the walls and I become trapped by his arms. I knew we had to go so I pulled away and stroked his cheek.
"We have to go home." I said sadly.
"We can finish this later." He says and pulls on a shirt as I nod.
*at home*
I look around and smile as all my memories come back to me. We all sit down on the couches.
"Go and get Kelsey and Nareesha." Tom encourages.
"They'll be so happy to see you. I know it." Siva said. I got up and stood at the bottom of the stairs.
"KELSEY!!! NAREESHA!!!" I scream.
"GRACIE!!" I hear the two girls scream before I'm tackled to the ground. I cry out as my back is not healed. They smile down at me and I smiled very falsely back. They stood up and I stood up now with a throbbing pain in my back. I thought back to the pain I had felt when I was in LA.
*flashback*
I was walking around LA when someone ran into me. I wince and turn around. A girl who was a few inches shorter than me with a tanned complexion with brown hair and brown eyes.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry." She apologizes.
"No! It's fine.. I'm Gracie." I said.
"Daniela.. Nice to meet you." She said.
"You look familiar.." I said but couldn't quite picture what she was from.
"I write on a website called wattpad." She said.
"That's it.. I love your book i hear your heart cry for love. It's very good.. Big fan." I said smiling. (Go check out DaniD531's book)
"Thanks.. Do you write stories?" She asks. I nod.
"Yeah, I have started a werewolf one." I said. She grins.
"That's pretty cool.. We could share ideas for stories sometime." She says.
"Yeah that would be cool.. Here's my number." I said handing her a napkin with my number. She grins.
"Thanks.. Why does it say 'I hate Nathan Sykes?'" She asks.
"Don't ask.." I smile.
"Ohh okay.. Good bye then." She says and she walks away.
*back to present*
Nareesha is carrying me and I suddenly lay in Nathan's lap.
"How did I end up here?" I ask.
"You blanked out." She said. I sat beside him and cuddled into his side. He smiles and wraps his arm around me.
"We should talk about the studio." Jayne said.
"Yeah.. I have a book of songs you guys can look at if you would like?" I asked.
"Sure.. That would be cool." Jayne said. I grabbed the book and handed it to Jayne and Connor. They looked over it.
"Those are really good. I really like the behind hazel eyes one. What's it about?" Jayne asked handing the boys the book to look at. They were all huddled around them.
"My friends Theo and Madison are mates. Theo has hazel eyes so I decided to write a song about their relationship." I said.
"It's perfect." Connor said. The boys were gaping at my music. I hid my head in my hands until Nathan pulled me onto his lap and kissed my neck softly.
"Your an awesome writer love." He whispers. I shiver and lean back into him.
"Thank you." I say. They hand me my book back.
"Will you sing a song for us?" Tom and Max ask hopefully.
"Jayne, Connor?" I ask. They nod.
"As long as no one tells anything to anyone about these songs." Connor says sternly. The two of them nod.
"I haven't matched the music yet." I said.
"That's alright. As long as you have the lyrics we can help." Jay says.
"Thank Jay."
"Can you do Because of you?" Kelsey asks. I nod and they all get up. I don't want to get up.
"I'm to lazy." I said. They laughed and grabbed my arms pulling me up. I smile and we walk to their music room. Nathan goes to the piano and I show him the lyrics. He starts playing and I stare at his hands moving across the piano. I gulp before smiling.
"That's perfect. Could you pass me the violin?" I ask. They hand me it and I start playing.
"It's missing guitar and drums." Connor pointed out. I nod.
"I know.. But I don't know who plays those instruments. I certainly don't." I smile.
"Jay and Tom can you play it for her?" Jayne asked.
"Sure." They said and grabbed the guitar and drum. They start playing and I take a deep breath.

Because of you" I finished singing and they stopped playing the music. They stared at me. I sat down embarrassed.
"It was bad wasn't it?" I ask worried.
"No it was awesome."
"That was very moving." Max said.
"Thank you." Nathan stood up and grabbed my hands pulling me up. I hugged him. Dad comes in.
"Hey." We said.
"Hey, boys your leaving on Wednesday. We have to go to America again." He said.
"Seriously?!" Nathan asked tightening his grip on me. My head was pressed against his chest.
"I know you just got her back so spend as much time as you can with her." Dad said.
"Okay, come on then." Nathan said smiling before lifting me up and over his shoulder.
"Have fun tonight." The boys said. I giggled and took a moment to admire his butt. I'm a teenage girl don't judge. I'm laid on the bed softly and I see a smiling Nathan looking down at me.
"Hey." He whispered.
"Hi." I whisper back and he kissed me softly. Autumn sighed in my mind.
"Your lips are perfect." I whisper and he trails them down my neck creating electric shock.
"Really?" He asked his voice getting extremely husky. I looked down and he was staring up at me with those green orbs that were the definition of sexy. 'We lucked out didn't we?' Autumn asked. 'Yeah.. We really did.. Can you feel everything?' I ask. She laughs. 'Yeah of course.' 'Good.' He tugs on my jeans.
"Are you ready for this?" He asks. I nod.
"I can stop." He whispered.
"I don't want you to. Nathan I was in heat while I was there.. I need to feel your body pressed against mine." He groaned.
"When was your birthday?" He asks.
"November 23." I replied. He cursed under his breath.
"I'm sorry love.. I'm sorry I couldn't ease the pain any." He whispers before pulls my pants off.
"It's alright, just mate me now.. I'm ready." I said and with those words the night turned into a very hot one.
Max's pov
FUCK!! The full moon was coming up soon and I was getting impatient.. My mate should feel the effects of the full moon as well. We are at our horniest which in my case is not good at all. I'm lucky enough to have my bedroom right beside Nathan's room. After we all retire to bed I growl as I hear Gracie crying out. 'Fucking hell.' I slam my fist against the wall and soon I hear a kick back.
"FUCK OFF MAX!" Nathan yells through the walls.
"TRY TO BE QUIETER!" I yell back. Geez are they trying to wake the whole neighbourhood up? Because it's working.
Daniela's pov
I was sitting at my computer just looking at things when I heard a song by a band called the wanted. My friend Gracie lives with them. I hear this one voice and it sounds heavenly. What's happening to me. I have never felt like that before ever. I snap out of my trance as I hear my father's voice yell up the stairs in Spanish.
"Daniela bajar y ayudar a su madre con la cena." (Daniela come down and help your mom with dinner)
I reply back with a sigh.
"padre bien i estará en un segundo" (alright father i will be down in a second) (sorry used translate and don't know if you speak Spanish but whatever). As I walked down the stairs I couldn't get his voice out of my head.
Lizzie's pov
It was getting worse. It always does and I wish I could stop it but Max's voice sounds incredibly sexy and he looks even sexier now that I know some things about him. I have never seen him in person before but I feel as though I have this connection with him. The full moons I have noticed are terrible for me. Lets see what the next one has in store.
