Last to know

Gracie's pov

I sit down at costa's and patiently wait for Connor and Jayne with my hot chocolate in hand. When I see them they make their way over to me and sit down at the table.

"Good morning." I said.

"Morning." Jayne said with a yawn. I giggle.

"You a little tired?" I ask. She nods.

"My little one kept me up all night."

"Awe.. That's not good." I said sympathetically. She smiled and took a sip of her coffee.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I ask.

"Well...... Lawson needs an opening act for their uk leg of 'everywhere we go.' And they wanted us to ask you." Connor said. I bit my lip.

"Umm.... Okay. When does it start?" I ask.

"It would start on September 30th in Doncaster." I nodded.

"Umm.... Could I think about it?" I ask. They nodded.

"You have until June 20th to think about it because you will have to start rehearsals as soon as possible." I nod.

"Okay, I'm sure it will be a fantastic opportunity. I'm gonna see how Nathan's feeling and then I'll make my decision." I said with a smile.

"Alright, that's respectable. We also wanted to tell you that we need you to release another single. What single were you thinking of?"

"I think we should do if I didn't have you. I think it's meaningful and it would be the first thing Nathan and I did publicly since we came out as a couple." I said.

"Perfect. You guys could do the music video as well sometime in July.." I nodded and took another drink of my hot chocolate.

"Nathan and I are takin over the pack in July."

"We'll have to make sure they aren't scheduled on the same day." Connor chuckled.

"Yeah, I think we all know which place I would pick to be." I said.

"Of course, it's a bigger deal. I also think you should go back to school like real school so you can get an education."

"Where??"

"London school for girls."

"I'm not going to have to have any time because I literally no time." I argued.

"At least start in September or I give you this second option. You can have a tutor that you see twice a week and you do a lot of online work."

"I choose the latter. I think it will be easier with my schedule. Plus if I need to go somewhere I can have my laptop with me so I can do work and not have to worry about falling behind."

"True enough." When we get done they offer to drive me home. When I get home I yawn and peel off my clothes. I pull on a pair of shorts and Nathan's shirt. I curl up with my laptop, school work and a tea. I start my geography work. After a while I get bored of it and put it away.

Nathan <3: hey little one, just finishing vocal lessons. Be home soon.

Gracie: alrighty, I'll be waiting.

45 minutes later I hear the front door open. I run downstairs and Nathan is standing there smiling at me.

"Hi." I say coming to hug him.

"Hi." He says kissing my head.

"How was your lessons?" I ask grabbing his hand before leading him to the kitchen. I turn the kettle on and grab a cup.
