Last to know

Gracie's pov

Today was the day that all the boys have been waiting for... The people's choice awards. I curl my hair and pull on my dress along with the ring Nathan gave me. I did my makeup and slipped on my shoes. I walked out and Nathan had a grey button down, beige sweater over top, blue jeans and grey supras. His hair is helped up in the usual quiff. He is pacing the room. I lean against the door frame and clear my throat.

"Babe?" I ask. He stops and stares at me. I stride over to him slowly. He looks down at me and I cup his cheek with my left hand. He leans into my touch closing his eyes.

"Don't be worried, you'll do really well tonight." I assured him. I couldn't tell him that I knew he had won the award. His management would kill me.

"No I won't, one direction, gotye, Carly Rae and fun are who we're up against. We have no chance." He says. I leaned up and pushed him against a wall. I kissed him as passionately and as loving as I could. He bites my lower lip and I don't hesitate to deepen the kiss. He groans as I start to trail my hands lower on his body. I pull away when he's left hot and bothered. He growls at me. I hold my hand up.

"You need to continue to be a good boy if you want to get some tonight." I said. He nodded.

"I'm sorry honey, I'm just freaking right out."

"That's alright, we gotta go. Come on." I said and we linked fingers. We got in a car with Daniela and Jay. The younger two were traveling together and the older three were traveling together. Daniela and I were bubbly chatting with each other while the boys were just filming some of the flip for Wednesday. The older boys wanted fried chicken so we were late. When we finally made it Daniela and Jay got out first. Then Nath and I. I laugh at the amount of girls screaming. The girls separated from their boys and stand off in the corner. Kelsey and Nareesha go to sign auto graphs while us three just stand there. Connor and Jayne practically pop outta no where and ask me to go and see some interviewers. So I go and talk. Soon I feel a pair of arms pull me towards them. I squeal and giggle.

"Sorry." I say to the reporter who seems really amused.

"That's alright, you guys are to cute." She commented.

"Thank you." I said and Nathan smiled at her.

"How are you today?" He asks.

"I'm pretty good and yourself? I hear you're up for an award tonight." She said.

"Yeah, really nervous. All of the other bands and singers that are up for that award deserve it more than we do that's for sure." He said.

"I'm rooting for The Wanted to win though and you two to win best dressed and best couple."

"Thank you." We both said and continued on. Once inside I took my seat which was away from the boys not too far away though. I was sitting with Daniela because I could only have her with me. I would have liked the others with me but they were behind me and to the left so that wasn't too bad. We watched and I started to get really excited when they announced the favourite breakout artist. Daniela looked at me.

"They didn't." She said. I nodded and we hugged each other and looked at all the girls. They smiled and we all stood up and cheered as they announced our boys names. They all looked in shock and I giggle. They all say what they needed and Nathan said a little speech about talking with his mom about winning a massive award. They sang afternoon delight and soon they were done. I had to go and get ready to perform. I passed the boys and gave them a hug. I gave Nathan an extra long one.

"You're gonna get it tonight boy." I said and his eyes got wide. I pecked him and continued walking. Connor told me how it would go and I nodded. I began to warm up my voice and changed into my dress. I stood behind a door that opened up and they announced my name. The piano started to play and candles all around me. I started to sing blank page. When I was done I smiled and they all cheered. I waited until it was dark before walking off. At the end of the award show, we attended a party which of course only Nathan, Daniela and I couldn't get drunk so we just hung out together.
