Guys, quick note. I'm sorry I haven't been updating. If you haven't noticed already, I am an extremely slow updater and it's even slower because I started school. It's just a lot of stress. So please, be patient with me. I always write in my spare time. Updates will happen, just not often. Also, I plan on ending this book around the 17th or 18th chapter. It's subject to change though. Alright, have fun reading.

Vic's POV**

It's happening. I did it. I'm going to get shit for it later, but I did it and now I'm happy. I kissed Kellin. His lips were so soft pressed against mine.

I was situated in between his legs as he sat on the counter. Our foreheads were pressed together as we both just enjoyed each others company.

I looked up at him then smiled cheekily. I took his hand in mine and led him back up to my bedroom.

"We have movies to finish." I said.

We sat on my bed and Kellin instantly snuggled up to me and rested his head on my shoulder. I snaked my arm around his waist and pulled him closer to me.

He buried his head deep into my neck. About twenty minutes later I felt his breathing even out which let me know he was asleep. I kissed the top of his head then felt myself slowly drifting off to sleep as well.

Kellin's POV **

Happy? Yes.

Sad? Definitely not.

Ecstatic? Maybe.

Relieved? Kinda.

Shocked? Definitely.

I was having extremly mixed feelings. Yes, I was happy, but also confused. Vic had dropped no hints of liking me one bit. He was always just a caring friend. Besides, I thought he liked Jackie.

Guess I was wrong.

I'm sad that he waited so long. I mean, I only have just about 2 single months to live. It's not enough time.

I just wish he would've told me sooner. There was no way I was going to make any advances towards him.

Hell no.

As far as I knew he was straighter than the pole my momma danced on. He was always with girls. And he never gave me a second glance as anything other than a friend. Best friend. Brother.

Hm, dating my brother? Ugh. That just sent chills down my spine. Let's not think about that.

I sat back on Vic's bed. He had went to the store a little while ago. He wanted to pick a few things up. What it is, goes beyond me. He told me it was a surprise.

I began to stare blankly at the comforter in front of me and pulled my knees to my chest. Then, my mind went black.

I call these moments my black parade. It's where I think about every bad thing that has happened to me. Then something happens...

Either I cry myself to sleep, or I make some new battle wounds on my wrists and hips.

"Stop! Dad! Please. Don't leave me!" I screamed after the men holding a suitcase.

"I'm sorry Kellin. I can't stay here any longer." He said turning to face me.

"B-but why?" I cried, my voice getting lower. He knelt down and caressed my cheek.

"Because son, your mother doesn't want me around any longer. We're just taking a break, that's all." He assured me.

"Can I go with you daddy? Please?" I begged.

"Afraid not. Don't worry. I'll be back soon." I nodded.

"Promise?"

He smiled. "Promise." He kissed my forehead then stood up.

"Bye son." Then like that, he was gone.

"You lied to me! You said you'd come back! It's been hell not having you here! I miss you. Please come back. Was it something I did? Please dad." I yelled. My eyes squeezed shut.

"Kellin." I heard someone calling quietly.

"No! Come back!" I yelled at the voice.

"Kellin." It grew louder.

"Stop!" I pleaded.

"Kellin."

"Kellin!"

"Kellin!" The voice yelled and my mind finally released me. I blinked a couple times to clear my vision which had been blurred by my constant tears.

"Kells? What happened? What's wrong baby? Talk to me." Vic's worried voice filled my ears. He pulled me into his arms and kissed my forehead much like my dad had done 12 years ago.

It only made me sob harder.

"He left me..." I whispered through tears.

"Shhhh. It's ok baby. It's all better now. You'll be ok, darling." He soothed me while petting my hair.

Vic's POV**

I came home from the store and heard Kellin yelling upstairs. I dropped my bags and ran up the stairs and barged into my room.

Kellin was sitting on the bed clutching a pillow with his eyes closed. I went to him and placed his head in between my hands.

"Kellin!" I yelled. It didn't work. He just kept screaming.

I called his name again and again until finally, he came back to me. I wrapped him in my arms and asked what happened.

All he said is, "He left me." I soothed him until he fell into an uneasy sleep in my arms.

While I know pretty much everything there is to know about Kellin, I have no idea who "he" is.

I layed Kellin down on my bed and covered him up.

"I always try to remind you." I sing. "That the future's, just a few heart beats away, from disaster." I finished.

Hm. That's pretty good. I'll have to write that down.

Short update, but hey, it's something. I felt like if I kept it going, it would drag out too long. Hey, lemme know. Do you all want long chapters? Or about the length I've been having them. Feedback is always appreciated!
