Mia's POV
Viaan had gone out from last few hours, and this house is eerily silent from then. And I wouldn't be more thankful for this stillness for the first time since he entered my life.
But somewhere I feel the absence taunting too. But I would never admit him. Not to him ever.
It's just maybe because I got habitat of him during this period of time. Nothing else.
His house is just like him—calm, clean and peaceful. While mine was just a four walls decorated beautifully like a golden cage. I'm feeling good here, but I'll never admit infront of him.
Because no matter what he is doing now, he had already done a lot of damage to me in the past. I have lived my life in shadows, fearing from where that masked man would come and haunt me.
Though he never met me, but his fear was instilled in mind like a hovering cloud which never left my side until he revealed himself.
Sighing at my chain of thoughts, I got up walking to the kitchen. It's again clean and tidy like someone had been here doing all this like it's the last mission of their life. But I never saw even one staff working here.
Not atleast in the mornings.
And at nights—I don't know what had changed but I'm no more insomniac . I'm able to sleep contently like I never had a problem in sleeping. Like I'm being guarded properly so I could sleep well.
I still don't know how. And just maybe I don't even want to know.
As I entered the kitchen, the food were already made, served and covered. And all of this is done by him. How do I know? I saw him doing it.
And even then I ignored and left him do it all by himself. And he did not even for himself but for me—specially for me.
But I didn't ask him to do that. He is doing by himself. And I ate everyday. Not because I was lazy to make or order anything else. Not because he made it. But because I didn't wanted the food to go in vain. He knew it
I already told him to stop doing this, but he never did. So it became a routine for us. Him cooking and doing all works and me just enjoying this privileges.
And it would be a lie if I told that I'm not enjoying this special treatment.
All my life I had no one to take care of me, this is the first time I'm getting attention except my father. Serving the food in plate, I sat on the dinning table devouring it.
