Third person's POV
"Eunjoo." Felix called as he noticed how Eunjoo froze as she saw the bracelet, "Are you okay?"
She was staring at the bracelet with a shock expression, feeling like all the memories came back. All these years, she forgot about Caius completely and never mourned for him like before. However, just seeing the bracelet made her wonder.
Is he really gone?
"Where did you hear about him? Don't lie, Eunlix. You know that's bad." she said to her daughter with teary eyes
"I'm not lying, Mom. He said his name is Caius." Eunlix said with a shock on her face as she saw her Mom's expression, "He even gave me a painting but I told him it was too heavy. He said he will give it to you soon."
"Eunlix, please don't lie to me." Eunjoo started crying
"I'm not lying." Eunlix started crying as well
Felix saw the situation, so he immediately signaled Hyunjin to bring Eunlix with him and he did. Felix stayed with Eunjoo and hugged her tight as he knows how hurt she was when he died, and now their own daughter who haven't heard about Caius, suddenly talked about him.
"How did she know about him?" Eunjoo cried to Felix who is hugging her tight
"Eunjoo." he called her name, trying to calm her down
"It's impossible. I never talked about Caius in front of them, nor I ever remember him when I'm with the twins." she added with tears falling from her eyes
Hyunjin saw how bad the situation is, and how affected Eunjoo is. Even him, he doesn't know how Eunlix knew about Caius. He gave the kid to Mrs. Shin, and started asking his friends if any of them talked about Caius in front of the kids but everyone denied.
"How did she know about Caius?" Jihyun whispered to him
"I don't know but I'm certain that this is the first time we talked about him again." Hyunjin answered and still puzzled
"Don't you think the kid is telling the truth?" she asked
"Impossible. Caius is dead. We saw him die." Hyunjin
Just seeing Eunjoo crying so bad made them all feel bad. They felt like they are also at fault, especially Hyunjin, who kept the condition of Caius before he died. All this time, they thought Eunjoo is already fine but they were wrong. She could never forget how clueless she was that he is dying.
After the police investigated, Felix told them to find the person who ever talked to their daughter. There's a part of him that tells him someone is using Caius to go against Eunjoo, but there's a part of him too that tells him that Eunlix is telling the truth. But it's impossible.
When everything and everyone is finally calm, they all decided to go home but some of their friends agreed to go to Felix and Eunjoo's house to talk about what happened.
In their car, Eunjoo is quiet as she looked at the window. Her tears are falling from time to time as she remembers everything about Caius. She remembers how Caius smiled at her just before he lost his life.
"Mommy." Eunlix called
Eunjoo hurriedly wiped her tears, "Yes, baby?"
"I'm sorry. I wasn't really lying." she said
"It's fine. Mommy's okay, don't worry. Don't think about it anymore." she answered and turned around to give her a smile
"Mommy, who is Caius? Have we met him?" Yongjoo asked out of curiosity
Eunjoo looked at Felix, signaling him to help her.
"Caius is our close friend, and Hyunjin's cousin. He is such a good person and has always been there for us. However, he had to go somewhere far." Felix said
"Is he gonna come back? Is he really the person that Eunlix talked to?" Yongjoo asked
"About that, we're not sure and we're still trying to figure because unfortunately we lost contact with him." Felix answered
Yongjoo didn't answer and just looked at his Mom with so much worry. He is a kid but he knows that something is going on with them.
As they arrived, the maids took care of the twins to get ready for dinner while Felix is talking to their friends in the living room. It's still about Caius. Eunjoo is in their bedroom, looking at the photos she had of him.
"Was it really you?" she cried
Their friends kept coming up with excuses that maybe it was Cyrus who Eunlix saw, but it's impossible since he is in the states and he would never pretend to be someone in front of the kid. Inyeop can't be done to talk about Caius because he is also in the states with his own family. None of them talked about him.
"What if Eunlix accidentally saw or read something about Caius?" Jeongin asked
"Eunlix cannot read yet." Lexie answered
Hyunjin asked permission to Felix that he will go to Eunjoo, they said it will probably help her. After all they both know each others' pain as it was Caius, they are both close with.
"I guess there's something that reminded you of him." Hyunjin said as he stood by the door
Eunjoo just let out a small, "Eunlix can't be lying to me. Caius gave me the same bracelet before he died and told me to wear it always. I took it off after Felix and I got married and never wore it."
"Is that why you believed Eunlix right away? Was it because of the bracelet?" Hyunjin asked
She gave him a nod as answer, then she looked at the picture of Caius, "What if... what if he is alive?"
