Eunjoo's POV
"Sure, you are"
Seungmin chuckled..
"So, that's the last part? You finished it, wow" Chan said and took the copy from me
"Just inspired"
Caius is my inspiration...
Hyunjin calling...
"Hyunjin, what's up?"
[Where are you?]
"At school, just finished doing the last part of the story. Why?"
[Can you go here?]
"Why? Where are you?"
[Caius said he wants to see you for the last time]
"For the last time?"
[Yes, for the last time-]
"I don't understand. Can you please enlighten me?"
[Eunjoo, I know this is crazy but Caius seems like he wants to say goodbye to everyone. You won't believe this but he already said goodbye to me and to my siblings]
Fudge. I didn't even ended the call and ran out of the classroom.
"Shin Eunjoo!" Seungmin shouted
Chan held my arms "What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"C-Chan"
"What?!" he shouted
My tears started falling "Caius... I need to see Caius. Please..."
Chan sighed and nodded "We will go there"
The three of us ran to the parking lot as fast we can. I didn't even heard what Hyunjin wants to say but I know what he means. I can't just let him go. I want to see him, I want to talk to him and beg him to live longer. I can't let Caius go now.
I just can't.
As soon as we got in Chan's car, he started driving it to the hospital as fast as he can.
"He will be fine" Seungmin told me
I want to answer but I can't. I don't have any strength to talk nor look at them. I am so weak. I don't even know if I can look at Caius later. I just can't.
If he wants to see me for a goodbye...
Should I not go?
He will probably wait for me to show up...
In that way he will live longer...
"He is going to be fine, right?"
"He needs to be fine" Chan answered
"Caius is strong. You should believe in him" Seungmin
How can I believe in him? He lied to me. He said he is fine and strong. He even went to the school. He even bullied me and kept annoying me the whole day but I almost kill him yesterday. Can he just bully me everyda? and I will be fine with it. I can let him annoy me and piss me off everyday. I will always be fine with it.
I badly want him to live longer...
As we arrived at the hospital, the three of us didn't even waste time and ran to where Caius's room is. I can feel my hands are shaking because of nervousness. As we arrived outside the room, we saw Hyunjin, Jihyun, Inyeop and one unfamiliar girl.
"E-Eunjoo" Jihyun called
"I'm Hwang Yeji" the girl introduced
I vowed "Shin Eunjoo"
I looked at the small glass window on the door, I saw Caius sleeping with a lot of things inserted to his body. I can see how he is trying to breath under the oxygen mask.
"Go inside. He is waiting for you" Inyeop
"I-I don't think I can"
"He is waiting for you to go here, Eunjoo. You are the last person he wants to see" Inyeop
"I'm s-scared"
"Whatever happens inside. Make sure that you are strong enough to handle it. Caius wants to see you" Inyeop
I took a deep breath and slowly opened the door, he also opened his eyes and a smile appeared on his face. It's kind of blur but I can clearly see his smile.
"You came" he whispered
I sat on the chair "How are you?"
I asked trying not to look nervous. I know he will be fine. I know he is fine. Don't be so negative, Eunjoo..He just wants to see you now, tomorrow and everyday.
"Eunjoo" he called and breathed heavily "Thank you"
My tears started falling. I quickly held his hand as tight as I can.
"You are the reason why my 2 years were fun. You did made me realize a lot of things in life. I finally became an actor and a singer which is not reall my dream" he chuckled and looked at my eyes "I-I did it because I w-want to make you proud. I was h-hoping that you might l-like me if ever I-I will do what you a-are expecting me to d-do"
"Caius..."
"I know y-you and Felix are not in a good situation. Don't worry, I-I did something f-for you to be happy before I l-leave" Caius smiled and wiped my tears carefully "You shouldn't cry. I don't want you to cry. Do you know what I love about you the most?"
I stayed quiet and held his hand that is caressing my cheeks..
"When I first saw you, I fell in love with your smile and I want to see it everyday as much as I can" Caius
FUCK.
"I may be the type of g-guy who loves to flirt and play. I swear, I-I am seriously in love with you. Y-You were the f-first girl who made me go c-crazy and I thank you for that. I am madly in love with you and I am hoping that one day you will love me back" he laughed and started catching his breath "Can you do me a favor?"
I nodded slowly and letting my tears fall from my eyes.
"Can I hear the words I want to hear from you?" Caius
I closed my eyes and held his hand tight "I love you, Caius"
He smiled and nodded "Finally, I can now rest. Thank you, Eunjoo"
