where are u???

Just got out of class. Are you there already?

yea. see u in 5???

Yep. I promise I won't be long.

I was too busy texting Niall that I couldn't see where I was going and slammed into someone.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

"No, it's okay."

Shit.

It was Will.

"I'll go," I said, turning to leave.

"Wait, Grace," he said, grabbing my wrist. "I want to talk to you."

"I can't. I'm meeting with someone. Have a good life with Sabrina."

"Grace!" He called as I walked away, but I didn't turn back.

Once I cut through the mass of students in all of the hallways I walked through and got to my locker, I shoved books into my bag, not really caring if I didn't even need them for homework. Swinging my bag over my shoulder, I shut my locker and headed towards the front gate, saying goodbye to Rachel, Chloe and Cassie as I passed each of their lockers.

When I was outside, my phone buzzed. Niall had texted me. Again.

taking ur time

Shut up. You're so impatient.

ooh. big words. big words.

I'm almost there. Don't get your knickers in a twist.

I safely crossed the road and found Niall's car exactly where I had instructed him to park. When I opened the door, Niall was in hysterics.

"What?"

"'Knickers in a twist'?" he exclaimed, shoving his phone in my face, where he still had our conversation open, and cracked up again. After a moment he composed herself. "How was school?"

"I don't know. You tell me," I said bluntly.

This made his start laughing again. "Cute uniform," he commented.

"Shut up."

"Nice badge, too. It's so shiny!" He exclaimed, reaching out to touch my Head Girl badge attached to my tie.

I swatted his hand away. "Don't touch."

"Okay, okay." He said, holding his hands up in surrender, then he smirked. "Don't get your knickers in a twist."

"You're hilarious."

"I know."

"Sarcasm."

"I'm just going to pretend you that you didn't say that and take it as a compliment."

The after school traffic was crazy. Buses, parents and students that were old enough to drive were all trying to get on to main road at once. We finally broke out of the chaos after ten minutes of waiting, abruptly stopping and starting and impatient parents blaring their horns all around us.

"I know a good café around here, could we go there?" Niall asked.

"Sure. As long as the coffee there is good, I'm all for it."

He looked over at me and grinned. "It sure is."

I grinned back. "Great."

It took five or so minutes to reach the café. The whole time we sang the Phineas and Ferb theme song, after finding out that we both shared the guilty pleasure of the show.
