~Joey's POV~

"I don't know."  I said, looking at the two shirts that Cat was holding up.

"Where is he taking you again?"  She asked, looking at all the clothes that we had around the room.

"I don't know, some fancy restaurant in West Hollywood."  So far, we've shot down every outfit.  He said he was gonna pick me up at seven, and it was already five.

"I think we need to go shopping."  I threw on some casual clothes and we headed to the nearest H and M.  I pulled out my camera, figuring that I could turn this into a trying on clothes montage.  We settled on a light blue button up, a pair of 'all tight in the right places' black dress pants, and some sexy black vans.  I bought Cat a slimming, sexy black dress.  We got back to my apartment just in time for me to change.

At 6:59, I heard a car pull up.  Both Cat and I rushed to the window like little kids.  We watched as Daniel got out of the car.  I saw him walking up to the front door carrying a bouquet of red and pink roses.

"Joey!"  Cat tugged at my arm.  "Red means love!  Ooh, and he's hot!" Cat said, all excited.  I had to admit, he looked quite handsome.  He was wearing a tight black button up with the sleeves rolled up, hmm.  He wore tight black pants and black Doc Martens.  His hair was combed back, with a strand hanging over into his eyes.

"Cat, hide!"  I demanded, waving my hands about.  Cat ran into my bedroom and shut the door.  I could only imagine her pressing her ear to the door.

I heard the doorbell ring.  I used all my self control from wanting to rush to the door right away.  But I took my time, checked myself in the mirror, took a deep breath, and opened the door.  Daniel smiled and handed me the roses.

"Thank you!"  I said, trying to act like I hadn't just seen him carrying the roses.

"Mr. Graceffa, get ready for the most classy, romantic, cheesy date of your life."  Daniel held out his arm for me to hold.  I couldn't help but blush.  He led me into his black VW Convertible.

When we got to the restaurant, the valet took the car, and Daniel led me into the restaurant just like I was his prom date.  Part of me became hesitant at the though of the paparazzi seeing us.  Daniel could feel my hesitation.

         "What's wrong?"  He asked.

"Its just that, I'm not out publicly.  What if someone sees?"

"Then fuck them.  This is your special night."  His smile and strong arm made me feel safe.  We were practically led by the manager as if we were the queen of England; which at this point, I felt like the freaking queen of England!  Daniel really knows how to treat a boy!

"What's your most expensive wine?"  Daniel asked the waiter.

"It's our Henri Jayer Richebourg Grand Cru from France."  The waiter answered.

         "That sounds great."

"Daniel, are you sure?"  I asked him, afraid that he was going to over do this.

"Joey, it's fine.  I want to make a great impression and this to go well."

"Daniel, you've already made a great impression, and this is going well.  You don't have to go and spend all your money on me."  I answered, hoping that I could get my point across.

"But I want to spend money on you."  He smiled.

"You don't have to spend money on me to make me like you.  I already do."  I said shyly.

"Would you rather go somewhere else?"  He asked.

"No, I don't mind this."  I said defensively, afraid that I had offended him.

"If it makes you uncomfortable, I'd be more than happy to bring your someplace else."  Daniel said worriedly.

"Daniel -"  I said, taking his hands from across the table.  "This is fine.  I'm just saying, don't go buying the whole restaurant for me."  I smiled, massaging the back of his hands with my thumb.  Daniel smiled and gazed into my eyes.

We ended up staying at the restaurant until way past closing time.  Because Daniel is good friends with the owner, he let us stay and have our own time for a while.

"So, tell me 5 facts about yourself."  Daniel said, still holding me hand across the table.

"I'm obsessed with anything from My Neighbor Totoro.  I have a sister named Nicole.  I have a brother named Jett.  As you already know, I just got out of a relationship.  And I'm, very adventurous.  Now 5 facts about you."  I said, swooning.

"I love writing.  I'm a true romantic at heart.  I love huskies.  I'm determined to please people.  And I'm just a basic bitch at heart."  We both laughed.  We went back and forth, saying facts about our selves.  Eventually, we made it out of the restaurant and to Daniel's car.

"I've got to show you this spot.  You can see all the stars."  We drove for what felt like hours, but I couldn't have been more content.  Finally, after feeling like we had just gone through Timbuktu, we got up to a hillside.  Daniel parked the car and came over and opened the door for me.  He took my hand and led me a ways up the hill to the side that faced the city.

"Wow, it's beautiful."  I rendered speechless.  A starry sky blanketed the city far below.  Daniel and I sat down on the hillside.  He pulled me onto his lap.  I gave him a confused look.

"I saw you earlier at H and M buying new clothes.  I don't want you to get them dirty."

"And you didn't say hi?!"  I joked.

"I figured it would ruin tonight.  And I'm happy that you settled on the blue shirt, it brings out your eyes."  He rubbed my shoulder.

We gazed into each others  eyes.  The stars made his eyes shine.  I leaned in closer.  He smelt like vanilla and something I couldn't recognize.  Something that drove me crazy.  The scientists would probably call it pheromones; I call it sex.

I closed my eyes and let my lips brush against his, afraid to delve in too deep.  Daniel put his hand on the back of my neck, returning the kiss.  I ran my hands along his back, putting more pressure into the kiss.  I could feel his tongue graze my bottom lip, sending shivers throughout my body.  I could feel Daniel pulling very gently at my hair.  I didn't want to admit the fact that this was driving me crazy.  I let my hand fall onto his lap, and just let it rest there, adding a little pressure (I was feeling adventurous).  Daniel moaned into the kiss.  By now, I was straddling him.  I started to unbutton Daniel's shirt.

"Joey."  I thought he was just moaning my name.  "Joey, wait."  I pulled away.  "I want to take things slow."  He said.

"Me too."  I wasn't lying, although he had gotten me pretty excited, if you know what I mean.  I got off him and laid next to him.  Daniel wrapped his arms around me and held me tight.  I don't know when we fell asleep or when I made it back to my apartment; but that was easily the best first date of my life.
