Tony's POV:

I ripped out my best friend's heart, and there was no way that I could've put it back. I just wanted to tell him how much I needed to be with him, but how the music business would make everything far too awkward. I wanted to help him too badly, I just wanted to make him feel better again. I was laying in bed, praying that Vic would cancel band practice because of all the drama that happened. I heard my phone ring, and I answered with the fakest happy tone that I had ever used in my life. "Hey Vic!"

"Just a reminder that practice is today..." He obviously wasn't as excited as I was fake excited.

"I'll be there!" I said, before hanging up. I just wanted to leave, leave everything.

I crawled out of bed and walked the door. I realized that I forgot my guitar, and then grabbed it, and hobbled out to my car I remembered that I needed to pick up Jaime because he didn't have a car. It was just my instinct to drive to Jaime's house; when I got there he was waiting outside with an obvious painted smile on his face. I just wanted to make him happy, but life wasn't that simple.

"Hey, you ready to go?" I asked him, scratching the back of my head.

"Yeah let's go," He said, making painful eye contact. We drove in silence. I was scared to make any move. I just wanted to jump out of my car. When we got to Vic's house my anxiety shot through the roof. There was a small crowd outside of his garage, and I soon realized that they were all his family.

Vic and Mike ran up to the car and dragged us out of it. Before we started playing Vic gabbed the microphone and got everyone's attention. "Okay everyone, we have an announcement to make! We have been offered to go on tour with(Mike started a drumroll)  ALL TIME LOW!!" Me and Jaime looked at each other with lots of confusion, we had never even heard of All Time Low before. Two small bands preforming together never usually worked. To make matters worse I would be with Jaime, and we couldn't even talk anymore.

I acted excited about the tour, and a week ago a would've been. I just wanted to go home and cry. All of the people ended up going inside while we practiced. Tour was in a week so we had to get a lot of songs ready. We got all of the song on the album down pretty well, and a cover or two, but I wasn't really paying attention. It was easy for me to memorize the songs, but Vic had noticed that I was out of it. I wasn't jumping around like I usually did. I was stolid, and it showed through the music. It sounded as boring as a cup sitting on a kitchen table.

Jaime was acting the same way, he wasn't like the Mexican jumping bean that he usually was. We were both just standing on opposite sides of Vic's garage, trying not to make eye contact.

"Okay! What the fuck is going on with you two?!" Mike yelled, making both Jaime and I jump.

"It's n-nothing..." Jaime stuttered, not even turning to look at Mike.

"It really isn't a big deal." I added.

"NOT A BIG DEAL MY ASS!" Vic piped in, "YOU TWO ARE IN LOVE, BUT FOR SOME REASON YOU AREN'T DATING!" Vic just jumped in to that, he didn't want to tip toe around the subject.

"It wasn't my choice for us to not be dating." Jaime murmured. After he said all of the guys looked directly at me.

"Well, we've practiced enough for today, you guys are free to leave. Please just work this shit out..." Vic trailed off. I packed up my stuff and Jaime and I were awkwardly just sitting in my car. I decided that I had step up and change things. I desperately wanted to date Jaime, and I was just being an idiot when he asked me out. A giant fucking idiot.

I decided to take a different turn to a small nature park by where we lived."You missed the turn." Jaime grumbled. He realized that I wasn't listening to him and just started to panic. "DUDE! YOU! MISSED! THE! FUCKING! TURN!" He looked like he was about to grab the wheel and steer himself.

"The only thing I missed was you." I said. I didn't want to make a cheezy pun, but it just slipped out. Jaime looked really confused, and I started to tear up. I pulled into the park and parked the car. "Jaime I-I love you, and I was being a huge douchey idiot. Please, just date me?" I asked him. He looked surprised, but then he got the message. We still loved each other. He started to lean in and kissed me passionately on the lips. He was all that I ever wanted.

Jaime broke the kiss, and then whispered in my ear. "I fucking love you, you idiot." I giggled and pressed my face back on his.
