~Abby~

"Abby? Are you okay?" Dan asked from the doorway of my room.

I snapped out of my thought, "I'm fine, Daniel." I sighed, wiping some stray tears.

"I thought you were over him." Dan said and frowned, coming closer to me and sitting on my bed.

"I am, I am, don't worry about it... I was just thinking." I said and waved my hand, my gesture meaning it's nothing.

"What are you thinking about?" Dan asked, leaning back.

I turned to him with a questioning look. "Did... Did I ever tell you the story of Jennifer, Terrance, Jackson and I?"

He furrowed his eyebrows, "no...?"

"Jennifer and Terrance were my foster parents and Jackson... Was my little brother. So about a month or two after Connor found me, Jackson was in a terrible accident." I wiped my tears, "he... He was in a coma for a week and I stayed by his side till the very last seconds of his life. He woke up and said 'Abby, I'm going to die and I want you to sing at my funeral' and I told him he was crazy and everything was going to be fine... T-Then his pulse dropped, he died... Right in front of me."

Dan pulled me in close for awarding hug, "you don't have to talk about him."

"But anyways, I sang at his funeral, I even wrote a song for him.

"Dear Mister Jackson,
Please just wait one more day
In the summers of May
Oh, please don't go today
Hang on the night
But it's okay if you leave
But please be strong, oh, Mister Jackson." I sang, my thoughts flashing back to the painful moment where I snag to Jackson.

"You sang that at VidCon." Dan mumbled, "that's why you cried. I never knew someone like you, all happy and all smiles, would have gone through so much pain and still be okay...ish."

"There hasn't been one day where I didn't think about Jackson or Max... My new little brother." I sighed, grabbing a picture frame off the nightstand.

"See that one? That's Jackson. The one on my other side is Max." I said and pointed to the boys, smiling down at the picture. "They were a handful, I'll tell you that."

"Where was this?" Dan asked, taking the picture frame from my hands and staring to down at the photograph.

"At a Headly's concert, it was their favourite band. I remember how much they loved them... They would play the songs at midnight and jump around. They practically dragged me to that concert. I have every Headly album on my phone, it reminds me of them." I sighed, letting a teardrop fall onto the picture.

"I miss them so much." I said.

"I bet." Dan commented, setting the picture frame back onto the nightstand.
"Let's go get your thoughts off of this, yeah?"

I sighed and rested my head in Dans lap, "I don't want to leave the house."

"Then let's go play video games." He said. I smiled up at him and nodded. We both got up and made our way into the living room.

"What do you want to play?" Dan asked, bending down beside the Xbox.

"Nice underwear Dan." I commented and laughed, "do you actually have pants that fit?"

Dan looked over at me with annoyance, "thank you Abby and I actually do, for you information."

"Anytime."
