There i was in my underwear and bra, singing the lyrics of Neck Deep's newest song Gold Steps dancing around my bedroom while brushing my teeth. I haven't felt so good in a long time. I feel free for once, like nothing can stop me. My heart racing, music blaring, everything is finally how i wanted it to be.
A lot has happened, and by a lot i mean two things. I passed my junior year of high school and Vega is now a grown woman. Adrian and I haven't spoken since he walked in on me with the pizza guy aka Kian, and i've avoided all contact with Nico and them. I'm more than half way into the summer and i haven't done shit other than paint all over my bedroom walls, smoke with Zeke, nap with Vega, and longboard. I probably long-boarded more than anything. Also school starts back up in a week, am i ready? Absolutely not. All hell will break loose. Who will i hang out with? Will i see Adrian again? Will Lola, Iris, and Nico ever apologize? What about mom and dad...
