Adrain Malice

I hate school, with a passion. The whole damn place is just as obsessed with who's the best dressed and who's having sex. Even worse, i have to stick to my promise. I have to talk to Kai.
What if she hates me?
Thoughts cloud my mind i get dressed in my same typical outfit: black ripped jeans, the shirt i bought from the tattoo parlor titled Third Eye Tattoos where i got my first tattoo, a dark grey snapback that reads Mercy, and my maroon Vans.
I run downstairs to make some coffee and snag a bag of poptarts before taking a glance in the mirror.
Eh.
I turn my snapback backwards and grab the keys to rusty red truck.

Kai Williams
Blah blah blah school.
Get dressed. Skinnies. Tank top. Throw a sweater or something over that shit. Some moccasins or Vans and you've just completed the Kai look.
I'm not looking forward to another year of high school, i don't have any friends. It's funny how your life can go from 100 to 0 in just a matter of time, but there isn't much you can do other than deal with it. A part of me wants to see and be something with Adrian, but some much has happened between us, we're always fighting or making up. It's like starting a fire then putting it out only to light another fire.
I still never got my license, i skate to school, stop at the gas station, get me a Red Bull or some type of energy drink then proceed to conquer the day by myself. When i arrived at school, it was all the same. People hung out in the parking lot, in the halls, or in the classrooms. Everywhere you looked there were people greeting each other and telling one another about their eventful (or uneventful) summers. I however mazed my way through the crowded halls to the office so i could pick up my schedule and map my routes to class.

I've made it to lunch without any encounters with Adrian or the other which i'm sorta glad for, although a part of me really wants to see Adrian. But before i knew it there he was walking right towards me.
Oh shit.
He doesn't say anything, he just stood in front of my with his hand nervously placed on the back on his neck. He then takes a deep breath and sits down. The whole time i let my eyes follow him. Why is he here?
"Hey." he says quietly.
I still remember that voice, the voice that could get girls naked or seduce you to do anything. He had the voice of a god.
"Hi." I respond quickly and softly, closing my book.
He leans forward, setting his arms on the table.
"How have you been?"
"Fine."
"Just fine?"
"Just fine."
He stares at me for a moment, i stare back. His cold grey eyes scan my face, he doesn't look any different. He's still the attractive guy i met that night.
After a few awkward seconds pass, i finally ask him.
"What do you want, Adrian?"
He raises an eyebrow. "Already attacking me, shorty?" he replies with a challenging tone and a smirk.
"I can if you'd like." i press while holding up my thick book.
He chuckles and take off his snapback only to run his hand through his shiny black hair, "You haven't changed a bit."
"You never answered my question."
Adrain sighs in frustration and leans in towards me, "Listen, my parents are out traveling for the week. The boys and I are throwing a party and i want you to come."
I stare at him for a moment. I'm not the type to hold grudges against people but Adrian has been getting on my nerves for a while then again how could i turn down a party? Maybe I'll meet some cool people...or have my heart broken again.
"Sure, I'll go."
