I watched looking out over Vega on my balcony thinking.
"I'm no different from anyone else here, especially Michael." I say aloud when I didn't realize my father was standing there listening to me.
"You..You..I don't know what you are, but you'll always be my daughter Alyssa. No matter what." My father said.
"I'm not your daughter anymore daddy. I'm a Lannon at heart and always will be." I say when he smiled.
"But you've got the negotiations of a Risen and that's all I need to know." He says.
"I'm not marrying William daddy. You can't make me." I say when he looked at me.
"You will m as marry him Alyssa, no matter what you are!" He said.
"Daddy stop!" I say and grabbed my backpack of my things walking out in my wedges, "I'm sorry."
He called after me when I kept walking not stopping to look back leaving my sister Claire with my daddy. I felt like I was being followed as I made my way to find Michael, wherever that may be.
