We walked through woods that got dangerously dark at night when I looked at Michael.
"You need to stop?" Michael wondered.
"No," I say hearing demonic like voices, "I'm good, I'm an archangel remember?"
He smiled squeezing my hand reassuringly.
"I remember." Michael says.
We finally came to the edge of the trees where the clearing for New Delphi started. I smiled happily till I heard more voices.
"Michael??" I whisper looking around.
"Its ok. They won't come near us." Michael said but they kept getting closer.
"Then why are they coming closer?" I say standing much closer to Michael.
"Don't let go. Hang on real tight." Michael said and I nodded okay. We broke into a run for the clearing as we made it! Or so I thought.
"Michael!!!!!" I screamed as he went down a metal mesh net of sorts covering him. I fought to keep him in my vision till I was punched in the jaw.
