Living In A Mirage was the first story that I dared to publish, first on India Forums and then on Wattpad, and I kept writing it for a decade. It was a long journey, a learning one, a humbling one, and sometimes a very tiring one. In the last five years, my life has changed so much that I had to push through a lot to reach the end. In recent years, there were times I asked myself if completing this story was even necessary, but I had promised myself and many of my readers not to leave a story midway, not to leave the readers who had invested in my story hanging. I am relieved that I was able to keep my promise, and I am grateful to everyone who has read this story at any point during this decade. I truly appreciate the time and attention readers have given to this story. Thank you for the time, support, and love that have been showered on this story. Thank you! ♥️

Many people have contributed to this story, and I will surely forget many names, but please know that even if I don't remember your username, each kind word and encouragement has been the reason why I was able to keep my promise to complete this story.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people who have helped me immensely and changed the course of this story.

@jayhz90, aka my sister, who, despite not being a reader, made a Wattpad account and read the first half of this story, and always keeps asking me about other stories I write. 🤗💐♥️

@EphemeralEntity, aka The Symbol of Faith, who had been my beta reader for more than five years, and despite her busy schedule, always made time to proofread the chapters and gave me her honest feedback. Thank you. 💐♥️ 🫂

@sidneetlover, who was the first one to nominate and encourage me to take part in the various writing awards happening on Wattpad in 2020. Thank you!🤗♥️

@Popololo3006, who encouraged me to get a book cover to reach more readers. Thank you, Vedika, for your advice and support. 🤗♥️

@divineEEarth, who gave me her honest feedback and made me realize the importance of editing. ♥️

@monu2525 aka Mona, who made such an amazing book cover for this story. I have no way to tag her now, but I am immensely grateful to her. 💐♥️

@Pournu, who encouraged me with the gentlest words and supported me when I needed it the most. Pournu, thank you... ♥️🫂💐

@Ruchi_16, who gave me confidence that no matter what, she will stay till the end. Her support was unshakable; she has been kind and sweet to me for all these years, and for that and more, I am immensely grateful to her. Thank you, Ruchi!🫂💐♥️

@priankasinha, 🤗♥️ along with @Stars_firefly 🤗♥️ and @Taareyians 🤗♥️ Throughout these years, they have given me reminders I needed that there were readers who are waiting for the next chapter and that I needed to continue writing. Thank you! 🙂

Some people were part of this journey, but because I took too long and so many years have passed by, I have lost contact with them, or some have moved on. I remain grateful to each one of them for the investment and support they have shown to this story. Thank you! ♥️

To new readers, who are going to read this story hopefully in one go and complete it, you are the ones who can give me honest feedback and an overall view. So please, whenever you are reading this story, leave likes and comments to let me know your thoughts and critiques. Thank you! ♥️

Thank you for reading, liking, commenting, and staying until the end! 🤗

Until we meet again... ♥️
