ALEX'S POV.






Even two weeks after the subject we'er not back to normal and it's really Getting to me. Of course he apologized and told me he talked to his dad but he hasn't told what he said or any changes with the tour so of course I think he's lying. But he doesn't have a reason to! I don't know why he's causing more hell but I'm trying to put it all a side since elicia's birthday is in two days. I sighed as I pulled up to this mini cafe where chresanto wanted to meet and talk. I was too furious at him back then..but seeing how elicia is without him just made me soften up and hear him out. If it isn't what it looked like then I will do what I can. But if he's just a fucking lying ass nigga elicia will not be seeing him. As I walked inside I spotted him instantly. " hey" he gave me a hug before we both sat down. " so what's up?" I spoke sternly. " we'll elicia's birthday is Friday and I *sighs* I'm tired of beating around the bush. I want my girl back and I need your help" he rubbed his hands. " well I hope you don't just think I'm going to help you without an explanation why you tore my sister to shreads" I spat bluntly folding my arms. he chuckled. " of course not.." As he went on explained that night from when he left the dressing room I really didn't know what to think. He never seemed like a player even though he might look like one. Then when he showed me the measages that, that chick sent him and honestly...I understood why he did what he did. Elicia did seriously just got off of crutches and I knew if that bitch was even in a fifty mile radius of chresanto she would've gone ham. But I don't know. All I want is the best for elicia. "...and I don't physically hit girls so there was nothing I could do and damn the look on elicia's face..." He sighed rubbing his face with both hands. I felt bad. They seriously need eachother. " alright look chresanto-" I paused momentarily as the waitress came and set our drinks down ." all I want is the best for elicia man like I don't want to see her like she was before. She's slowly putting her self back together and if your just going to tear her down again-" . " Alex I can guarantee you this will never* happen again. I'm so serious when I say I'm in love with your sister. " he glared at me with sincerity. A moment of silence passed before I responded. " alright. What do you have planned?" A bright smile crept apon his face.






ELICIA'S POV




Yes ! Finally after two weeks of book studies I'm finally on the road! Alex said she couldn't pick me up after my drivers test...I don't know why but its whatever prince is taking me shopping after for my birthday since he's gonna be stuck at the studio for the rest of the week. I'm excited for my birthday I just..can't stop thinking about chresanto still. I haven't talk to him or seen him since the studio and I don't know. I never know anymore. i just wish things were how they were. "Your doing great elicia." My driving instructer snapped me out if my thoughts as we waited at a red light. "Thank you sir." I tried to relax a little since I was very nervous. I nervously finished the test which led us back to the school. I put the car in park , took my seat belt off and stepped out the car. My driving instructor came around. " very well done elicia. Congratulations. Your permit will be in the mail. " YAYY! Oh my gosh ! Thank you so much!" He chuckled walking off as I called prince. " hello?" "Ayee boo!" I giggled He laughed. "Wassgood shawty?" He responded. "I'm ready for my shopping spree!" " alright I'm on my way." I hung up and laughed to myself when I got a call from Miguel. Me and him are cool just not as cool as were so it was kinda weird getting a call from him. "Hello?" " hey um you left some stuff in the dance studio." "Oh thanks. I'm still here so I guess I'm on my way." I already knew something was up but since prince want here yet I might as well. As I made my way to the dance studio I tried to brace myself for whatever romantic gesture he's gonna try and pull. I took a deep breathe before I walked in to a dimly lited room with pink roses and lotuses bordering the hard wood floor. He approached me taking my hand and leading me to the middle of the dance floor. " Miguel-" . " shh. Just dance with me." He spoke in a soft voice as a piano instrumental; soft an light began playing in the backround. As he lead me swiftly around the room I'm just lost in thought. Should I move on? I mean..Miguel is really trying but..I just-There's no spark between us.! I shouldn't start something that isn't going anywhere. Once the song ended my hands fell form his neck as he tightened his grip on my waist. I walked out of his grasp slowly. I sighed. " Miguel.. *sighs* this is amazingly sweet but.." I paused. His head hung low. I stepped closer to him again caressing his neck. " I'm sorry" I whispered in his ear before pressing my lips against his cheek softly. I sighed walking away from him. I felt bad leaving him but.. I can't do something I'm not comfortable with. I waited out in the front for prince trying to collect my thoughts. As soon ask seen his car pull up I jogged to it hopping in the front. "UGHHH! PRINCE!" I basically shouted. He jumped as I let my head fall back. " what!? Damn!" He fluffed his Afro. I scoffed. " prince ! I don't know what to do anymore! " I whined. " you already know what I'm going to say" He's all about me and roc getting back together. " BUT!...but I how can I trust him after what he did?" I hugged my knees. " look, the past is the past. You can't change it. You have to move on and grow from it instead of pushing it away. " I looked up at him. " do you still love chresanto?" . " of course". " do you still wan to be with him?" . "Yes" I sighed. " so what is stopping you from moving on from that? Passed that? I think you gave it enough time. It's time to talk" I just stared at him. " I think all you guys need to do is sit down and talk things out." He pulled out of the schools parking lot. I think he's right. " but I'm scared." I admitted. "Hey, love is all about taking chances anyways." . "When did you become the Mexican dr. Phil!?" He chuckled. " I'm just trying to help you." As he turned onto the express way I sank into the seat. " why can't things be the way they were?" I sighed. "C'mon ! Lets not worry about this right now. Your going to be 16 in TWO DAYS!? " I laughed. This nigga sounded more excited then I was. " I know i know! And I want a Bigg ass party with all my homies BUT! y'all niggas work so there's no point in a party.!" I sassed. "Look im pretty sure if we talked to Walter we would not mind. But...you might have plans that night.." He grinned. I scoffed. " like what?" . " you'll find out soon enough" prince smirked. He knows I don't like surprises but I know he wouldn't budge anyways so I let it go...but I will find out.!






ALEX'S POV




So after going over his "surprise" for elicia, it just made me miss Daniel more! It's the sweetest thing ever! "Alright I'll see you Friday.!" . " thank you so much Alex !" We parted ways to our cars. Once santo pulled off I called Daniel. We haven't talked in a few days. "Hello ?" "Um hey." I spoke shyly. "What's up babe? I miss you." " I miss you too. so has your dad changed anything?" I crossed my fingers. " yeah.! oh my god ! i cant believe i forgot to tell you .! ? The tour is only going to be a year if that. I might be back early baby!" My face lit up. " that's great babe!" I almost shouted through the phone. " yeah! I'm sorry. I just haven't had any time lately now that the tour is kind of I'm full swing. I hope you know I still love you babe" my heart melted. I don't know what is was about this conversation that made me realize that he does work hard and I've just been stubborn this whole time. " I know. I love you too baby. I'm sorry too." I felt so much better hearing his voice and talking to him. I know we can do this..I hope.






ELICIA'S POV




**5 HOURS LATER**






prince basically bought out every mall from San fransico to Los Angeles.! Man I was exhausted. Prince probably spent thousands both of us combined. we joked around as we sat at our private booth at Benihanas. " thank you so much Afro puff" I kissed his cheek. He blushed a little. " no problem. I'm sorry about the fans though. It just made things harder" he sipped his water. " it's okay. I had so much fun but I can't help but feel bad.! You spent a lot of money today! You didn't have to-" . " shhh.! It's your birthday. Eat shushi" I giggled. "Ew ! How can you eat that shit!?" He shrugged eating another with chop sticks thinking he's cool. I rolled my eyes playfully and shoved him. I love my Afro puff. We finished eating sort of in a rush. I didn't want to come home too late.

It was eleven o'clock on the dot as prince pulled in my drive way. He sighed rubbing his eyes. " just stay. Your not going make it back to L.A" I rested my head on his shoulder. And hugged his arm. He kissed my forehead before he rested his head on top of mine. "You sure it's okay?" I gave him the stale face. "What the hell prince. *chuckles* you know where my room is. Ill get my clothes tomorrow. See you in five?" I felt his smile. " alright." I sat up and stretched. " thank you so much prince. I love you." I gave him a hug. " I love you too" I stepped out the car and wobbled to my room. I basically collapsed on my bed. Ugh I was too exhausted. As I was dozing off I heard my balcony door click shut. I yawned rubbing my eyes. " it's just me." Prince spoke softly as he locked my bed room door. He took my shoes off slowly before he climbed in bed with me. I sighed curling up next to him. " elicia?" . "Hmm?" . "We'll we always be this close?" I scrunched my eye brows together. " of course. Like of ether of us were in a relationship ?" . " yeah.." . "Oh yeah of course. Well always make time For us right?" . " right." He kissed the top of my head. " I loo.." His head fell ontop of Mine as he dozed off.

I woke up on my birthday eve alone. I figured prince had to leave. I checked my phone it was six thirty. Sounds like a bum day to me. I had a few texts one from prince and one from Walter. Prince; hey thanks for letting stay over. Ill be stopping by later so we can get your clothes. Have a great day. Love you Me; you know it's not a prob and okay I'll see you later love you too Walter texted me recently. Walter; happy early birthday baby girl! So me and Kesha were wondering if its okay for us to have a birthday dinner with you your sister and your mother just to catch up and discuss upcoming opportunities ? My jaw dropped .! Me; yes yes .! Of course thank you so much Walter. Whatever time today is most convenient for you will be just fine Walter; well I don't want to take up your whole night so maybe 6 ish? Me; um I will talk to my mom and see what's up Walter; okay hun. I will send her the reservation information and I will see you tonight! Me; okay thank you SOO* much Walt Walter; no prob

I'm so excited for this birthday dinner/ meeting thing tonight. We texted mom this morning. I hope she can come.! This is just too big! I was on my way to dance class when Daniel called me. "Hello?" I blushed. " hey babe. I'm on a break from rehearsal and I just wanted to hear your voice." He sighed. " I miss you too Danny. So where are you? " " um Spain...I'm pretty sure." He chuckled. I was just about to tell him about the dinner tonight when i reached the studio. " hey I gotta go babe. Have a great day. I love you." " I love you too. I'm in rehearsals all day so text me." " good! 'Cause I gotta tell you something.! Okay I'll talk to you later" I spat excitedly. "Okay love you beautiful." I giggled." I love you too." I skipped happily into dance class stumbling into jay. He caught me then picked me up. I laughed. "Put me down weirdo.! *giggles* sorry." I smiled as he put me down. He laughed. " it's okay. You tryna hang after school?" . "Umm I can't today. My sisters birthday is tomorrow and I gotta a lot of stuff to do. " . " oh alright. Lets get warmed up." He helped me stretch until our dance instructer came in.

I was really excited for this dinner. Apart of me hopes chresanto is there. I know every time I see him...I just can't take it but I don't know. I miss him more each day. Miguel snapped me out of my thoughts. " hey.." He leaned against the locker next to mine. " hey look I'm really-" . " it's okay elicia. I was kinda rushing things. I didn't mean to put you in that position." Ugh.. If only we had some type of connection ! He's so damn fine man." I'm still sorry I shouldn't have started something that was.." I was at a lost for words. It wasn't bad or wrong.. " I understand" he saved my sentence. " I'm sorry I fucked up the friendship." . " we can still be cool?" I extended my arms out for a hug. He smiled squeezing my waist. "Of course" he chuckled. He released me so I could grab my books for my last hour. " so you tryina dance after school?" He asked. " sorry I can't. Now that we talked about things I had a lot of fun.! Things are slowly going back to normal between me and Miguel. I drank some of my water as we walked out of the school together until I spotted my sister. "Oh.! There's alex I gotta go." I gave him a hug. He pecked my cheek. I blushed slightly before I jogged to Alex's car. " oh my god.! Are you as excited as I am.!?" I squealed. " YESS.!" Alex shouted. She basically raced home. " did you call mom?" I asked Alex. She sighed. " apparently she can't make it because of 'work' " I rolled my eyes. " we'll I don't want to hear shit about us not being close." I stomped to my closet. " hey, fancy or causal ?" I asked holding up a pencil skirt. " fancy.! To show them we mean buisness.! " Alex rolled off my bed. " I'm gonna go get ready." I spent about a half hour contemplating my outfit before actually jumped in the shower and got out around four forty five. I tired to keep my look settle with spiral curls and a waterfall braid holding my bangs back. By the time i was done with my hair Alex walked in my room wearing a white pencil skirt with a dressy black shirt. And my outfit being the opposite. Since we both had a pair of black and white stilettos we both switched on out for another. She carried a black clutch as I carried a white one downstairs. As we got situated In Alex's car mom sent us a group text Mom; hey girls. I'm talking to my boss right now about getting off early for this dinner. If I can't make it Im So sorry and I love you guys.! We both sighed and made our way to the restaurant. *** As soon as we walked in the lady at the podium led us to Kesha and Walter. We all greeted eachother with hugs " your mother is unable to join us?" Walter asked. " um she's going to try and make it." We sat Down. " okay, well basically girls we set up a show case for you guys about three or four months from now and what that is, is basically you and a seperate partner; could be a friend or we could hold auditions for male partners if needed to prepare four or five songs singing and dancing for colleges from our label and several others. I would honestly try and be prepaired for anything they throw at you. You both are extremely talented and we feel its time for you guys to take on the world." Kesha explained. Me and Alex remained speechless. " your serious!?" Alex spoke. " yes " Walter chuckled. " oh my god..." Was all I could say. "Are you foreal .!?" The adrenaline smacked me in the face. " wow.! Thank you guys so much.!" Me and Alex said in unison. " now girls there's a lot of training in the process. We'er going to rent out a studio for you both, get you guys private trainers and dietitians.." I listened as Kesha went on explaining basically what we'er going to be going through for the next few months. It's hard work but it's so exciting. She handed us paperwork and discussed other things while we ate. " so where's the boys?" I asked as santo rose to the front of my mind. "Studio. There's only a few more songs to record we'er planning on releasing two singles first though" Walter explained. We nodded.

We finished up around eight and gave them a hug good bye. " thank you guys so much. I can't tell you how much we appreciate it." I squeezed Walters neck. " you girls deserve it. Happy birthday.! We'll see you guys soon." We parted ways. We got situated in Alex's car. " wow ! I can't believe this Is happening! We're seriously about to make out big break!" Alex drove off. " I know right! I can't wait to tell-" I paused. Alex glared at me as I almost said santo. "Prince. I can't wait to tell prince" I sighed. " c'mon lets go Shopping! You need a birthday dress" she changed the subject. " why do I need a dress? I don't even know what I'm doing tomorrow.?" I tilted my Head slightly. " well you never know" she grinned. What is up with everyone lately? ALEX'S POV We tore apart almost every mall until we found a red velvet pencil dress with a black belt hugging her waist with black steltios. she stepped out of the dressing room turning around completely " you look foine.! That's the one" I nodded. " Alex c'mon when will I ever need to wear something like this?" . " sooner than you think" I mumbled. " alex" she put her hand on her hip. " what" I grinned. " what is going on!?" She stomped. " nothing! Nothing! C'mon get dressed so we can pay and go home." I rushed her. She sighed walking back into the dressing rooms. I hope this all goes well tomorrow.

" I shouted playfully. She laughed and sat down beside me. Well since you don't have to go to school what do you wanna do-" she was cut off my the door bell. " c'mon " we both jogged downstairs and answered the door. " hey prince.!" I gave him a hug. " happy birthday! I forgot to stop by yesterday but I still have your clothes". " oh okay. Help me get em?" He nodded. " I'll be right back alex" prince and I jogged outside grabbing armfuls of my clothes taking them inside and up to my room. " thanks Afro puff.!" . " no problem. You up for some birthday brunch.?" He offered. " sure..ALEX!" I shouted from upstairs. She popped her head in my room " huh?" . " get dressed. Prince is taking us out for birthday brunch." I told her. " Kay Kay." She walked off. " you can wait downstairs if you want. We'll be down in thirty." I said to prince as I walked to my closet. " alright but I gotta be back to the studio in an hour or so." I nodded as he walked out. I took a ten minute shower throwing some ripped shorts on with a bright purple belly shirt. I scrunched my hair and put on light make up then laced up my Converse sneakers. " C'mon girls.! " me and Alex jogged down the stairs. " where are we going so I can tell the boys to meet us there." I need chocolate waffles in my life. the boys parked right next to us as we pulled up to the restaurant. We went straight to the back like usual. We all sat down in this order; prince, me, Alex, ray, prod. We ordered drinks and food then began talking. " so what are you doing for your birthday tonight hmmm?" Prod asked in a weird tone. I laughed. " I seriously don't know. My permit should be here today though.! And yeahh maybe you guys could sleep over.?-" . " oh um the boys...are busy tonight .! Right guys!?" Alex interrupted staring them down. They all began talking at the same time staring fake plans." Foreal you guys!?-prince " I glared at him. " I can't..." I sighed. She removed her hand from my face. I covered my mouth and screamed as a jet black 300 was right before my eyes in the garage. "OH MY GOD.! " I screamed hugging wmy mom. " THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.!" He laughed handing me the keys. " your welcome hun. I'm really sorry about yesterday but I did revive a call from Kesha and Walter explaining everything.! I'm so proud of my girls!" My mom hugged both of us. We let go. "C'mon Alex..we outie.!" I made the keys jingle.






**FOUR HOURS LATER** A






fter four hours of riding around and blowing cash on some pointless bullshit, my mom told me to come home..apparently something came for me so she put it in my room. me and Alex jogged upstairs and entered my room. I froze in place as I saw a dozen of red and white roses speckled with pink. I looked over to Alex. She shrugged. I walked over to the vase and took the card out."Elicia, well first happy 16th birthday. But I think it's time we talked..about us. Just give me an hour to explain this big Misunderstandment..and how much I love you. Chresanto." I read the card out loud blushing slightly. I felt my stomach fill with butterflies. I glanced over at Alex who was nodding vigorously. " Alex-" . "Nigga.! You have to go.!" I sighed. " he didn't say the time and place.!" Santos stupid ass. " seven and I have the directions " she grinned devilishly. " Alex.! You knew this whole time.!?" I almost shouted. " I didn't want to ruin the surprise .! Now you go get ready. We have to be on the road at six thirty" Alex walked out shutting my door behind her. I sat on my bed and sighed. Wow it's finally time. The biggest smile crept apon my have as I grabbed the dress I bought yesterday and undergarments and jogged into the bathroom. I took a quick shower then slipped the dress on. Alex put big waves in my hair as I put on light make up. I put on chresanto's favorite perfume of mine and this lip gloss he loves as we made out way to Alex's car. ** The whole ride was filled with music. Alex turned it down as we pulled up to a familar restaurant. " okay, just listen to what he has to say alright.? Ill be close by if you need a rescue." Alex advised. I sighed slipping my stilettos on and gripping my clutch getting out of the car hesatantly approaching the restaurant. I let out a deep breath. He opened the door before I could.
