Tuesday flew by faster than I could say hotdog. Wednesday was a drag. Thursday just sucked. And Friday is a blast. Seth kept me company through the entire week. I could tell he was trying to cheer me up as much as possible.
I grew popular drastically, all of a sudden most of every freshman knew my name and who I was, sophomores smiled at me and said hi, seniors nodded at me. But I just don't want it anymore, I want my brothers back, and I want everything to go back to normal where I'm just an average face in the crowd standing next to her goofy weird friends who practically grew up with her. But I can't get what I want, can I?
At least I still have Seth, I don't know what I'd do if I lost him too. Leah has been hanging with us but her other friends demanded she spend more time with them seeing as this was her senior year.
"So," he started, dragging the 'so.' We came to a halt at my house and I turned to him with a questioning smile.
"Alot has happened this week, so tomorrow I'm taking you on a picnic... to get your mind off the things that happened."
I smile faintly, trying to hold back a grin. "A picnic," I repeated almost in a statement.
"Yeah, so dress in something...warm?" he said nervously.
I giggle. "Yeah, I think I might have some warm clothes in my closet."
He grins and shook his head. "Heh, see ya tomorrow?"
I smile and nod. "Yeah, see ya tomorrow."
He walks away with a goofy grin, and I watch his retrieving figure. When he's out of sight, I squeal and do a happy dance.
"Why are you dancing like a crazy person?" I jump and turn to Kristina, who was eating chips dressed in blue shorts and a grey shirt with 'Where's the food' in white bold letters. Her hair was dead straight and enviously long and silky. First, how come she NEVER gets cold, and how come she eats a lot but is still skinny, tall and lean, with a body to die for?
I blush and shook my head. "I don't know what you're talking about."
She raises an eyebrow. "NOTHING goes around me that I can't see."
I nod slowly. "So I danced crazy. Hehe, it was just a one-time thing."
She nods slowly, cocking another eyebrow, though the expression on her face told me she didn't believe me. She takes a chip and eats it. "Hmm, oh, okay. I guess having a crush on your best friend is a one time." She mocks with a sly smirk.
I roll my eyes and push her lightly. "I do NOT have a crush on Seth!" I object.
She giggles and wiggles her eyebrow. "Yeah right, like, anyone can tell he's so into you and only you can't see that."
I walk into the house, she trails beside me. "That's because he does not. Now don't you have a certain La Push bad boy to see?" I mock playfully.
She blushed and I nodded in satisfaction. "I'll see ya later."

What is wrong with me??? I can't decide on what to wear! It's not like I'm going on a date or something! I hate wardrobe malfunctions. It makes me think too much in the mornings. Just wear something plain, Melody! My consciousness kept telling me but I decided to ignore it.
I sigh and compare the outfits on my bed. Should I wear my blue faded skinny jeans? Or my black tights? Undecided.
I'll just move to my shirts. Should I wear a neon pink sweatshirt or a strapless top and blue jacket? Undecided.
I groan and pace around my room, checking the time — it's already 8am and the weather is its usual murky self. But with a hint of sunlight.
"And you said you didn't have a crush on him," a smooth silky voice said.
