The Threat

Since I am part of The Pack now, and under their watchful gazes, I'm set on patrol in the afternoons with Kristina, Seth and Embry. It's tones of fun, Kristina isn't part of the pack unlike me, but because some of the link with Embry as his imprint she can communicate but she can only talk. Unlike the other members where we can watch through the other person eye's in wolf form.

Leah's barely at Sam's she's only there when it's her shift on patrol. I get how uncomfortable it is for her to be in the exact same room as your ex boyfriends and watch him fall in love with someone else, especially if it's your own cousin.

Though for people like Paul, it's very difficult for that thought to sink in.

I must've been indirectly giving Paul the stink eye cause he stopped eating and turned up to me, "Okay. What did I do now?" He asked.

He's been trying to get on my good side because when Rachel heard that he shifted when I was just in front of him, she flipped. And now he's trying to make it up to her by now making me angry at him. Or hate him in any way.

I shook my head, "Sorry, just in deep thought." I reply with a sheepish chuckle.

And lean back into Seth and went back to reading my novel Poison Diary. Seth chuckles down at me and goes back to his conversation with Quil.

Sam and Jared were on patrol, since they were alpha and beta they didn't need any help. Kristina had a few errands to run before she joined us at Sam's.

"So does anyone wanna go cliff diving?" Asked
Embry as he stood.

That perked my interest, "That's what you call it? I always thought it was just suicidal Jump off A Cliff."

Jacob laughs and turned to me from his sit on the table, "Don't tell me Mel, you've never cliff dived before. And how long has it been since you shifted? A week, 2 maybe?"

I picked up the small pillow next to me and throw it at him, he ducks immediately, "Shut up okay. I was just, you know, busy." I explained lowly hiding my face behind my novel.

"Okay, we are going cliff diving." Embry states with a smirk.

"Hey, I never said I wanted to go." I said as I cling onto Seth, seriously with the evil chuckles I heard from Jacob and Embry I'm surprised I wasn't already thrown in the ocean by now.

Seth looks down to me, "Come on Mel. It'll be fun trust me."

I thought for while before huffing and standing up, I can never refuse Seth's puppy dog eyes! "Fine, we're going cliff diving."

Kristina met us halfway with a bag filled my swimmers and hers. We even asked Leah to come, as you probably guessed the first thing she asked was "Is Sam gonna be there?" And when we laughed and replied no, she happily agreed to come.

When we arrived the boys immediately went diving, Seth stopped for a few moments making sure if I was ready. Than he jumped in. Leah following soon after.
I walked off and stood at the edge of the cliff I saw Leah, Paul, Quil, Embry, Jacob and Seth splashing around. I stumbled back a bit dissy. It was a long dive to the icy clashing waves of La Push. Kristina held me up, with a chuckle.

"Time to take your training wheels of kido."
I shook my head and walked away from the edge, "I don't think I can do it. Did you even see how high this cliff is?"

"Yes, you can. You're a damn hybrid for Gods Sake. Now go get dressed. I wanna see Seth gawk when your in your bikini." She gushes.

I frown, "You packed me a bikini I don't have? What about my swimmers?" I whisper yelled.
