Chapter 50

Paityns POV

Friday 3:27 am

June 24

I sat on Nash's bed looking out the window I couldn't fall asleep, my leg was hurting and I had a headache. I didn't now where the medicine was and I was starting to get hot. I didn't want to wake anyone up but honestly I'm going to have to. I got out of Nashs bed slowly and suddenly became dizzy, "Hayes" I called and I tried to get up slowly, I reached the door and opened it.

I held on to the stairwell limping because of the pain, up to Hayes door. I turned the nob and quietly opened the door to see Hayes sound asleep. "Hayes please wake up" I whimpered as a shot of pain came up my leg. "Mhhm" Hayes moaned in bed turning over, "Damn it wake up" I hissed in pain and he opened his eyes slowly looking over at me. "Are you alright?" He asked sitting up rubbing his eyes "No, I need your help."

He got up walking over to me "What's wrong?" He examined my face "Why are you walking around at three in the morning?" He asked concerned. "I need my pain pills and some Advil" I rubbed my head "Ok sit on my bed I'll be right back" he helped me sit down and then ran out the door. Almost about minute later he was back in the room with water and the the pills. "Here" I took the pills putting them in my mouth and then swallowing them with water. "Thanks Hayes" I gave him a small smile getting up "You can stay in here if you want" he said quietly.

I turned and looked at Hayes "Ok" I answered turning around. "I'll sleep on the floor" He said leaving the room then coming back with a sleeping bag a pillow and some blankets. I got in his bed and laid down Hayes also laid down turning to look at me. "Do you need anything else?" He asked quietly "I'm good thanks" I answered. "You leave in a day we can do whatever you want tomorrow" I signed looking at the ceiling. "Alright goodnight" I answered turning to look at the wall.

"Are you tired?" Hayes asked me twenty minutes later "Not really" I answered. "Where do you want to live when you grow up?" Hayes asked "Chicago or Australia" I answered. "City girl?" He asked "If I can take Los Angles I bet I can take Chicago" I shrugged. "I bet you could, why Australia?" He asked. "I think it would be cool I don't know, what about you?" I asked him. "North Carolina or stay in La" I chuckled and looked at him "That's boring." He laughed "I want to stay near Sky I miss her like crazy and my mom."

"I miss my mom" I said "I would do anything to get to see her again to feel her hugs to hear her voice." Tears flooded my eyes "God I miss her" my voice cracking. "I'm so sorry" Hayes whispered "I wish I could turn back time so bad." I let the tears fall down my face "Me to" he answered "Goodnight Hayes" my voice cracking and I rolled over quietly sobbing into my pillow. He didn't say anything and a couple seconds later I felt the bed dip down and his arms wrap around me pulling me up into a hug.

"I would do anything to help you get your mom back" he whispered hugging me tighter. More tears fell down my face, I'm such a mess right now. "Tell me a memory with your mom" Hayes said and I wiped my tears. "My mom and I flew to Chicago to visit her sister and my baby cousin. We got their and a took a tram a little before downtown and picked up my cousin from daycare. My moms sister had work and also her husband did to so we went to their apartment before we met her sister for lunch. Their apartment was so cute you walked in and it had a bathroom to your right and then their was a kitchen, dining room and living room with a porch was on that level. By the bathroom their are spiral staircases that led downstairs to my cousins room with another bathroom and her sisters and husbands room. Me and my mom put her are luggage in my cousins room witch we were staying in and my cousin  was staying in her parents bedroom. My cousin was almost two and me and my mom were exhausted so we laid down on the air mattress and my cousin laid between us. My mom turned an looked at me saying 'I remember when you were her age, God you became a beautiful amazing girl I love you, remember that' I will always remember that."
