Paityns POV

I finished my shower and I was finishing my hair. I was wearing a California Republic shirt with a blue varsity jacket. I had light denim jeans and black vans on. I added a gold dream catcher necklace on.

The regular makeup and I added some light lipstick. I finished my hair and packed it all my bathroom essentials in my suitcase. My hair was in lose curls, I loved my hair like that.

Cameron wasn't in the room, I packed everything, it was next to Cams bag. I slipped my phone in my back pocket. I heard Cameron's voice, he was in the hallway. I pressed my ear to the door, and I could hear him talk.

Ya, I know is eavesdropping is bad but whatever. "No, no, no this can't be happing! Are you sure you heard it right?" Cameron said. I could tell we was crying, and frustrated.

I listened closely " NO! You never smoked! That's can be right how can you get that Sierra?" I froze. Sierra? Why is Cameron saying that she never smoked? I don't know if I wanted to listen anymore.

My phone rang, I backed up and pressed accept. "Hey Paityn!" Hayes said on the other line. "Hayes why is my brother talking to Sierra, and why is he saying that she never smoked?" I asked.

There was silence on the other line. "Paityn stop listing" Hayes said, "No! I'm going to listen!" I said in the phone. "NO! Paityn stop" he yelled in the phone.

I hung up, and slid my phone in my back pocket. I pressed my ear to the door again. He was walking down the hallway, then I heard what he was been hiding from me.

Hayes POV

"NO! Paityn stop!" I yelled in the phone, the line went dead. "CRAP!" I yelled frustrated, the boys gave me weird looks. I slid my phone in my pocket and ran towards the door. I threw it open and ignored the boys calling after me.

I darted for the elevator, what the heck why is it out of order? I punched the elevator, the boys where running after me. I saw the stairs and ran towards them full speed.

We where on the 13 floor, I darted up the stairs. Thank god for football, 11, 12, 13! I pushed open the door and darted down the hallway. Cameron turned my way, his cheeks stained with tears.

His phone was in his hand, "Did you finish the phone call?" I asked out of breath. "Ya, why?" He sniffled, "Crap! Paityn was listing!" I yelled. His eyes went wide "Wh-what? she wasn't supposed to hear any of that" Cameron said grabbing his card key.

He ran down a couple rooms, he shoved the card in. The light turned green, we ran in. The room was empty, oh my god she left. "She left! Did you ever see her leave?" I asked Cameron.

"No, she probably heard me talk to Sierra about her cancer" Cameron shook his head. "I know where she would be!" I said, I ran out the door. I found the stairs, and darted down them.

I ran into the boys "MOVE!" I yelled. They all moved to side, I heard Cameron behind me. I finished the 13 stories, and ran towards where I knew she would be.

I ran to the front of the hotel and out the doors. I ran straight forward across the street. Earning many honks and yells from people. I ignored them and ran down the road.

My throat burning every breath I took. I ran into the entrance to a small park. I slowed down, taking a breath for a second. I would be able to find her easily, since it was small.

I picked up my speed again around the park. The cool air pushing back my hair. I slowed down when I saw Paityn, her blue varsity jacket caching my eye. She was sitting on a park bench.

I ran up to Paityn, her sobs loud, her head in her hands. I sat next to her, I put my arm around her pulling her close. Her head shot up, her eyes read and puffy. Her cheeks stained with tears, "Don't touch me!" She spat moving away.
