Chapter 1: New Kids

Once upon a time...

Kayla's POV

Ben has made his first official proclamation. He wants to give the children of Maleficent, The evil queen, Jafar, and Cruella de vil a chance to live and learn here in Auradon. Our parents think he's crazy, I think he's not. If you asked me what i thought (which doesn't happen often). I think they totally deserve a chance to make their own choices. 

Today my crush or ex-crush now Griffin Pan, the son of Peter Pan asked Sarah Hatter out. So guess who again has her heart broken by someone she never even dated. Everyone assumes that I could date anyone I want because I'm Ben's sister. But with my dark brown hair, poop brown eyes, "hipster glasses", and  interesting style no one has ever liked me. But at least I have some great friends like Logan charming, Anne white, Crystal wonderland,and Orly darling (you can probably guess who their parents are). 

Today the new students are coming, well more like the villian's kids are coming as audrey Ben's horrible girlfriend says. "Kayla hurry up we need to go and greet the new kids! And we can't be late", calls Ben.  "Im coming" is all I yell as I slide down the stair rail. Im wearing  medium washed high waisted shorts, a black and white striped long sleeve crop top, yellow infinity scarf,royal blue combat boots, and my favorite royal blue beanie. I thought who am I trying to impress today. Ben and I hurried down to where we are supposed to greet the new kids.

 Just as we get there the black limo pulls up to the curb. And four disheveled looking kids stumble out of the car. But the last of the four to get out catches my attention, his hair was white with black roots and he wore three different colors with two different clothing textures. Black, white, and red were the colors paired with leather and fur(which I hoped was fake). But his eyes were a warm chocolate brown and he had cute freckles dusted over his whole face. It was only when Ben elbowed me on the arm that I realized I had been staring. And the boy looked right at me, and I turned away blushing and fell onto the ground. Great, within a few minutes I had managed to totally embarass myself in front of the new kids. Ben helped me up and imtroduced us. We shook hands with each of the four but I couldnt help but  see how much better Ben is at being royalty than me. I learned the names of eqch of these four kids. There was Mal daughter of Maleficent,Evie daughter of the evil queen, Jay son of Jafar, and Carlos son of Cruella de vil.  CarLos is the one I had been staring at. When we all walked to the statue of my dad that changed from our kingly looking father to him as the beast, Carlos jumped into Jay's arms. I almost fell over, again from laughing.  "If you have any questions about anything feel free to ask myself or Doug." I said to the villian kids. Then Ben and I had to go to get ready for dinner. The weird thing was that the whole time I could feel Carlos' s eyes on me.  It was probably just my imagination. 

Carlos' s POV

I wasnt really keen on being in a car for a hour but the camdy made it soooo much better. As Mal, Evie, Jay, and I fell out of the car at some fancy looking place. I saw the most beautiful girl I had ever seen, she looked about my age she had long brown hair , big brown eyes, impeccable style as my mother would say, and a smile that had just lit up my world. Then she fell down. I don't know why, but she fell right when i made eye contact . 

We then learned that she was Princess Kayla of Auradon and the guy next to her is Prince Ben her brother. The only thing I cold do is stare at her. I mean who wouldn't she is gorgeous.  I only took my eyes off of her when a statue suddenly changed into a beast. I jumped onto Jay and screamed, she laughed and almost fell over. "If you have any questions about anything feel free to ask myself or Doug",said Kayla. Wow even her voice was perfect. I just hope I get chance to talk to her.
