Chapter 2: I want to know you

Kayla's POV:

It's been 2 days since the villian kids arrived in Auradon.  It was a Sunday which was terrible, normally I loved Sundays.  It was always a day or laziness, sleeping,and Netflix bingeing. But not today...ok maybe the Netflix bingeing. But only because I couldnt stop thinking about Carlos. I kept thinking about him. His eyes, his smile, his laugh just him, I dont even know why I'm starting to like him. Wait, I cant like Carlos he's supposed to be evil or whatever.  But I feel like there could be something else to him. But I definitely need to find out. 

I was watching some of the Auradon news on tv. Not because I wanted to but I was lazy to change the channel. Then I heard a knock at the door, I was guessing it was probably my roomate Logan charming. She is always losing her keys. Since she's my best friend I didnt care if she saw me looking so gross, with my messy bun, sweatpants, and tank top. When I opened up the door I found...doug.  He's Dopey's son and my best guy friend. He's so dorky and has liked logan for a while now, which explains why he came to our room. He constantly needs my advice about logan. She is almost everything he isn't. She's outgoing, loud, is always getting into trouble, did I mention that she's loud. But he surprised me because he was explaining his feelings for another girl named Evie. She is one of the villan kids and when I met her she seemed sweet, well as sweet as a child of someone evil can be.

As I listened to doug drag on about Evie (id been listening for a hour I should get paid for listening to his problems). I started to think about Carlos again. "Kay, are you listening anymore?" Said a concerned Doug. "No, after the first hour I kind of started thinking about..."  I nervously say I dont want to tell Doug about Carlos yet."Pizza?" He suggests.  I started to laugh so hard I feel off my bed. He knows I love pizza. "Doug that happened one time let it goooo, let it go" I muster to say in between laughs. Then someone knocks on the door. I made Doug get it because "I let you in", those were my exact words. Logan comes in saying "Yes I lost my keys, but they are in this room.  Also we should grab dinner text the squad to meet us at the Wonderland diner in a half hour. Oh hi Doug. Sorry but we need to gset dressed now see u later." And she shuts the door after pushing him out. All I can think is wow she's so coordinated, how is she my friend, as I text our friends the dinner plans. 

I really didn't want to get out of my "sunday gear" but logan evenyually got me to find something else to wear. I put on a pair of high waisted black skinny jeans,a daisy yellow long sleeved crop top, a tan leather jacket, auradon blue high top converse, a blue beanje that matched my shoes,and a small rose gold rose neckalace that my parents gave to me. I left my hair natural because of the beanie, alittle concealer, and some small winged liner.  Which is pretty much all the makeup I wear besides special ococcasions. "YOU CLEAN UP WELL" shouts Logan, "YOU TOO!" I answer. Logan wore  light blue shorts, creme colored sweater, a black choker neckalace, black combat boots, she had her sholder length hair in a ponytail, and mascara on. "Kayla we are going to be late if we dont leave now!!!" Logan says as I grab my phone, wallet, and bag. And we rush out the door.

"They finally made it!!" Yelled our friends, I guess you could call us all very loud. We were outside of the Wonderland diner, as we walked in I was greeted by the familiar scent of burgers and cupcakes.  Yes, I know it sounds like a terrible combination of food but I came here so many times I had found it some how comforting. As we all sat down in a booth there was me inbetween logan and crystal wonderland(she had the night off of working here at the diner) crystal was next to gavin (he's rapunzel's son) and across from him was Anne white, next to her was Doug and Zach (pinochios son) and next to him was Orly darling. I ordered a cheeseburger with super sweet fries(they were basically yam flavored sticks of sugar😂) , then Logan told me not to look behind me. So of course my natural instinct was to look behind me. And I saw all of the villan kids, including Carlos.  To all of my friends they were the new villian kids none of them knew how I felt about Carlos. So when I waved and said "hi!" To them ,my friends were very confused. Mal and Evie smiled at me, Jay elbowed Carlos, and Carlos looked up and waved with a smile. He was blushing a little bit, it was so cute.
