After Curtis had thrown me some passes and I had caught them(thankfully) coach let Curtis take a seat and he called Jeff up.

Coach had me throw some passes to Jeff, who was the wide receiver, and he caught every one.

Coach then called Damian up and had me block him, and then had Damian block me.

Overall I think I did well. Everyone was surprised I finished the mile and suicides and then completed the rest of the tryouts. I am quite proud of myself.

As I walk back to the locker room I bump into Jeff. "Excuse me," I say moving around him.

He steps with me and puts a hand up to stop me. "You did good today," he comments.

He looks like he is about to say something else, but decides against it and walks away. Strange.

I go to the locker room and change and head outside to where Jackson is waiting for me.

"What took you so long," he growls.

"Jeff stopped me, sorry I took an eternity," I say sarcastically.

After a few minutes of silence he asks, "What did Jeff say?"

"None of your business, nosy butt." I retort.

Jackson could be pretty nosy. He always had to know what was going on with me. It could get annoying, but sometimes it can be nice to have a protective brother. Sometimes.

Surprisingly he dropped the subject and we started chatting about football and school.

By the time we got home lunch was setting on the table waiting for us. We ate and went downstairs to find Trenton, Jason, Zack, and Chris playing Call of Duty on the Xbox.

I grabbed a bag of chips from the mini kitchen and plopped down between Trenton and Zack.

"Robin talked to Jeff today," said Jackson.

"He talked to me first," I say blushing.

"Ooh Robby likes Jeff," said Zack calling me by my nick name and poking me in the side.

"I really don't," I say seriously.

"Whatever," responds Zack shrugging his shoulders.

Soon, they started playing Madden and Jason said he wanted to take me on. I was the undefeated champion.

A little while later I was standing up doing a victory dance. "Not cool," said Jason picking me up and tossing me over his shoulder.

"Put me down!" I said screaming as he started spinning me around. He sets me down and I fall over, my head spinning.

He starts laughing and soon I join in "That's what you get for beating me," he said childishly.

"Ha, get used to it, baby," I retort.

All the guys get up and start to chase me. Chris grabs my arm and holds me down while Trenton and Jason start tickling me. "Stop!" I say gasping.

Bzzzz bzzzz bzzzz

My phone started ringing and they let me go so I could answer it.

"Hello?" I ask, still breathing heavily from the tickling.

"Hello, is this Robin Cabot?" Asks the person on the other line.

"Yes, this is her." I reply.

"This is coach. I wanted to inform you that you have made the Sun Valley high school football team. You will be our tight end, safety, and back up quarterback. You did an outstanding job. Congratulations."
