I sigh as I wipe another fallen tear as I stare into the mirror. He is not worth of my tears, I should have known this would happen if I ever fall for him, but I guess I am an idiot, because he doesn't care. How can a guy like him ever care about someone who is not him? I get that he loves his family, but that he would ever care about me? No.
There are so many other and better girls than myself. Others that are so much better for him. I mean, he does like his girls thin, tall and sexy, all that I am not.
I take another deep breath and smile a little into the mirror. I can go out and have fun as I promised Sandra and Cat. They are his sisters, but they are not bad friends to me.
I grab my purse and walk out of the bathroom, only to bump into someone. I was just about to apologize when the person beat me to it. "When I said I hope to see you soon, I didn't mean so soon." Josh says teasingly, making me giggle a little.
"Neither did I. And I am sorry to bumping into you." I say with an apologetic smile, blushing a little. Why do I never watch where I am going?
He smiles a little at me. "Don't worry, doll, it happens. But why I am wondering is, why were you crying? Your eyes are still a bit puffy." He adds when he sees my confused expression.
I shrug a little and look down. "I don't want to talk about it." I glance up at him.
He nods at me. "What do you say if we get out of this club and go somewhere else where the person guilty for your tears is not around, huh?" He asks with a smile and I start to nod, but then I frown.
"I can't. The stupid bodyguards will come with me and tell him where I am." I grumble.
He thinks a little. "We can always use the backdoors." He suggests and I nod, glad that he doesn't mention my bodyguards.
He grins a little at me before grabbing my hand and dragging me through the hallway and out of the club through the back doors. I keep glancing back, not sure if checking that no one is following or because I hope I will see Luciano coming after me.
As we reach the back he turns to me. "Wait here. I'll go get my car and come back to get you, so your bodyguards don't see you, okay?" I quickly nod and he disappears to who knows where.
I bite my lip as I look around nervously. This is the riskiest thing I have ever done and I don't mean that just since I moved in with Luciano against my will. I have some crazy guy after me, I am disobeying Luciano and running away from my bodyguards with a stranger. I am going crazy, no, Luciano is making me go crazy.
I look up when a car parks in front of me. Josh comes to my side and opens the doors for me. I smile a little and get in without thinking. "Thank you." He simply smiles and walks to his side. He gets in and drives off.
