Chapter 11: Demyx meets Dimitri

It has been ten weeks, since a girl named Trixan seriously injured Marluxia. Marluxia is healing slowly, but surely. Demyx had been helping him with everything that he normally wouldn't need help with. However, with only one full good side it is very hard to do by himself. Demyx made sure he got everything he needed. Demyx has been sleeping on the floor, until Marluxia has fully recovered. It was the first day of week eleven and Marluxia was fast asleep. Demyx was lying on the floor, when a man appeared on the patio. Demyx jumped up and went over to him.

"Who are you?" Demyx replied.

"I'm Dimitri. Your person you belong with."

Demyx froze, knowing this was a lie; but he didn't want to say anything. Dimitri looked over at Marluxia then back at Demyx.

"Is he all right?" Dimitri asked.

"He'll survive... He's been active since it happened."

"Listen, about that I am sorry. Trixan could've gone further then she did."

"You need to punish her or something."

"They haven't told you?"

"Told me what?"

"The last attack that he did to her had wounded her so bad that it killed her, before the others got a chance to attack her."

"Why did you come here tonight?"

"I wanted to meet you. At least once, ...it's not every day that people like me get to meet their other half.

Demyx smiled. " He's a great man, you know he took care of me when I was injured." Demyx looked over at Marluxia.

" His name is Marluxia right?"

"Yeah, Mar or Marly for short." 

"He didn't stop talking about you... you know. He was the first one to know about me... along with Trixan. How bad was his injuries?"

"He had broken his hand when he was going for a punch in her face, while she was on the ground. Then his entire right side was shattered, after she threw in the air shortly following him breaking his own hand."

Dimitri looked pale in the moonlight. Demyx looked over and saw his face.

"I know... I took care of him when they brought him in."

"I could've..."

"I know what you were Dimitri; I overheard you talking to some people about it. I took that into my own hands took care of it."

"Then you also know that I'm gay."

"Yes, I know that too... Trianna told me that herself. It was shortly after that that Marly and I started going out."

"Yeah? How long have you've been together?"

"It's been a while; I'd say it'll be going on a year. Then Trixan made that threat to him, and we'd broken up recently because of it. But..."

"You want to get back with him now that Trixan is gone."

"Yes, yes I do. I still love him... even though I had given him that bruise on his check."

"What he do to deserve it?"

"He was using the silent treatment more than normal. It got on my nerves and I smacked him."

Dimitri laughed. "That is so like me."

"Well, you are practically talking to yourself." Demyx replied and they both laughed.

"He described to me your wound it sounded painful."

"Did you want to see it?"

"Yeah, if that is ok with you?"
