Chapter 13: A Confession of Love

Demyx gave Marluxia a bowl of soup and let him eat in quite. When Marluxia was finished he got up and set the bowl down on a near by nightstand, then went over to where the flowers were, placed the jewelry box down, took off the necklace, and placed it in the area of the jewelry box where it could hang. Marluxia had found Demyx in his thinking corner writing in his journal.

"Hey there." Marluxia said as he joined Demyx.

"I'm glad that you are feeling better." Demyx looked up from his journal to look at his boyfriend.

"Where did Sora and Riku go?" Marluxia asked.

"To find Vexen and talk to him about getting Kairi back."

"Kairi is here?"

"Yeah, she's been locked up in Vexen's room though." There was a knock on the door. Demyx got up with his journal and went to the door. It was Axel.

"You two could come in." Demyx said as he spotted Xaldin with Axel.

"Where's Marluxia?"

"He's here. He's in the thinking corner though... I heard about you two." Demyx replied.

"There goes our chance to tell. Come on Axel, let's go."

"Not yet. I want to talk with him first. You go on ahead. I'll catch up later."

"All right. Don't keep me waiting then."

"I won't." Axel watched Xaldin exit the room then Marluxia got up and ran after him.

"Marl--"Demyx started to say, but Marluxia had disappeared before Demyx was able to finish his name.

"Hey Dem."

"Yeah?"

"What caused Vexen to freeze Marluxia?"

"I have no idea, but he said that he wasn't done talking me."

"Really? What he say?"

"He brought up our relationship."

"Really. What else?"

"He was questioning it. I had given him the silent treatment. Then he said 'the silent treatment. Wasn't that why you broke up with Marluxia?'" Demyx imitated Vexen, surprisingly well.

"What you do?"

"I threw punches and told him that if he ever uses my relationship as a threat again, then he wont see another day."

"You? You? I just can't picture that happening. You throwing punches. Wow. You really love Mar then."

"Yes...oh, do you want to see what Marly gave me?"

"Yeah."

Demyx went over to where he had his stash of CD's and brought over the CD he had received from Marluxia.

"Here it is."

"Demyx, don't you have enough of her CD's?"

"I have every single one of her CD's now."

"When did he give you this?"

"A few hours before the other members showed up."

"Why did he give it to you?"

"Axel, You forgot? I joined the organization on this day a few years back. Don't you remember?"

"Yes, I do. He joined only a few months after you. Didn't he?"

"Yes, Axel. He did. You see that jewelry box over there?"

"Yeah. What about it?"

"I gave that to him, along with the jewelry he was wearing. There are more inside the box."
