Chapter 15: Zexion Tells Marluxia

Marluxia and Zexion were eating quietly, when Marluxia was full he moved his plate away and off to the side. Then he went over and checked on Demyx.

Marluxia moved some hairs that was in Demyx's eyes and kiss his forehead. Then he combed out some of the tangles with his hands. This must've helped Demyx realize that he was still there with him, because Demyx seemed to be more relaxed than he was when Marluxia was eating.

Zexion just sat there and looked them, hoping that he could've been that position. But he couldn't put that in his head, Marluxia was happy with Demyx and so he has to be happy about the choice that Marluxia had made.

There was a knock on the door, Zexion had gotten up and answered it.

"Hi...Zexion." Axel said, he thought that Marluxia would answer the door. "What are you doing here?" Axel added.

"I came by to give Marluxia some company, for a while. You?"

"Coming to see Demyx."

Zexion moved as side and let Axel through.

Axel had spotted Marluxia over with Demyx and was stroking Demyx's hair.

"Hey, Mar...how is he holding up?" Axel said when he got to Marluxia.

"He's doing great... you know he woke up this morning."

"He did? He sure doesn't look like he did."

"Well he did."

"And they made their commitment official." Zexion said as he went back to his seat.

"Really?" Axel asked.

"Yeah..." Marluxia said as he showed off his ring again.

"Wow, Demyx gave you that?"

"Yes, he did."

"That must've been why he left."

"Yes. To get something's straight with himself. He had run into a heartless boss as he was thinking things over."

"Where is his sitar?" Axel asked.

"Zexion... Where'd you put it?" Marluxia asked, looking over at Zexion.

"It's in my room...I'm trying to put it back together."

"Back together? You make it sound like he had nothing left to fight with."

"That is exactly what happened... he had called on his dancers to distract the thing, but it didn't work." Marluxia replied.

"That will explain his injuries. Will..." Axel didn't finish his question, because he saw Demyx move.

Marluxia look down at Demyx, when Axel interrupted himself.

" Marly..." Demyx whispered.

Zexion and Axel were shocked.

"Yes, love."

" I'm..."

"Say no more..." Marluxia looked at Zexion. "He's hungry."

Zexion brought over Marluxia's plate and handed it to him.

"You need to take small bits though, okay love."

"Okay." Demyx let Marluxia feed him.

There was a knock on the door and Zexion went to it again.

"Hi, Zexion... is Axel here?" Xaldin asked.

"Yes...Demyx just woke up again."

"Oh...may I come in?"

"Yeah."
