Twenty Nine

*Contains some spoilers for the manga*

"Whaaaattt?! You're in Tokyo, right now?" Oikawa whined on the other end of the line, clearly upset that he wasn't informed of the trip earlier. [Name] could only chuckle nervously, feeling a little sorry for not telling him earlier. "I really wanted to take you out..."

"Gomen, Tooru-nii..." She apologized, scratching her cheek. "But we can go out some other time."

"Hmm... Alright! But you really have to make it up to me!" Oikawa agreed, back to his old cheerful self. She promised and after a few more exchange of words, they ended their phone call. She let out a sigh of relief and turned back to the team, who was making their way to the dorms with the guidance of Nekoma's captain and vice-captain, Kuroo Tetsuro and Kai Nobuyuki. They waited for their arrival from the train station and welcomed them there.

"OOOOHHHH!!!" [Name] turned her attention to where the commotion was coming from.

"That's!! Could that be!! Tokyo Skytree?!" Tanaka asked excitedly with the team's Libero by his side, equally thrilled. Their eyes sparkled with impressiveness as they stared into a red and white steel tower.

[Name] pursed her lips, trying her best not to laugh at the two 2nd years. After all, they have never been into the city and seen the real Tokyo Skytree for themselves, so it was actually normal for them to think that way.

The bed-haired captain of Nekoma, however, had no problem holding back. He burst out laughing at their statement, holding his cramping stomach. On the other hand, Kai was nice and understanding, and explained to them that it was just a normal steel tower in the nicest, kindest possible way.

Tanaka and Nishinoya remained unfazed at the fact that it wasn't the Tokyo Skytree that they hoped it would be. They pointed out every single thing they saw, as if it was their first time seeing a lamppost and a wired fence.

"You seem a little reluctant to be on this trip." [Name] turned to her side immediately as Tsukishima pointed out bluntly. A yawn escaped from his lips as soon as he finished his sentence. She looked down to her feet, suddenly finding great interest in her shoes. "Do you not like Tokyo?"

"Not really..." She shrugged. "Tokyo is an amazing place." She admitted with a smile, looking forward where their excited 2nd year senpais were. "I just... Feel a little uncomfortable."

Tsukishima's eyes lingered at the girl, wanting to say something but decided against it.

"UOOOOHH?!!"

"Th - Th - THE GIRLS HAVE MULTIPLIED!!" A blond Mohawk haired male exclaimed dramatically, dropping onto his knees and spreading his arms out with his head thrown back.

[Name] flinched and raised her hand before her to defend herself. By her side, Tsukishima's eyes widened and the bottom of his eye twitched in irritation. Instinctively, he grabbed onto the sleeve of her black jacket, pulling her slightly closer to him. Kiyoko made her way to defend [Name], standing before the girl silently as her eyes remained on the Nekoma player intently.

"Take a good look, Tora..." Tanaka's tone was serious as he stood before the male, nicknamed Tora. He spread out his hands and his face turned into Bodhisattva mode once again. Bright rays of light emitted from his background, giving him a 'holy' look. "This is the sanctity of Karasuno."

"Kuh! So bright" Taketora (Tora) exclaimed, throwing his hands before his eyes to shield them from the blinding lights.

[Name] sweat dropped, feeling goosebumps all over her skin rising into terrains of mountains and hills. She blinked back into reality when she felt a tug on her sleeve and turned to find the tall blond looking forward with a slightly agitated look.
