Lightning flashed and lit up the entire room, causing some of the volleyball players to flinch. A low grumble of thunder followed shortly and the rain continued to fall, muffling all sounds.
Yuki looked out the window, her hands clasped together tightly as she watched the rain beat down the window. She tried to stop her thoughts from wandering into negative scenarios as she squeezed her eyes shut and pursed her lips.
Everyone had managed to return to the lodge as soon as the rain begun. All except for [Name] and Tsukishima. Everyone was worried about the both of them, wondering where they were at that moment and how were they doing. They wondered if they had found shelter and if they were safe.
However, they tried to keep their hopes up, believing that Tsukishima's brains would make sure that they both were alright. With that, they crossed their fingers and prayed that the storm would pass soon.

[Name] groaned as she pushed herself up. She squinted her eyes, trying to figure out where she was. But it was too dark and the rain was still pouring. She flinched when she felt something pressed against her fingertips. Finding a pair of miraculously unbroken glasses, she picked it up and started to worry about the tall blond that fell with her.
Hearing another groan besides her own, she quickly glanced at her surroundings, trying to find out where that came from. She turned around and found Tsukishima laying on the ground just a few feet away from her. She gasped, crawling up to him with the mud and leaves under her. "Tsukishima," She shook his shoulders, trying to wake him up.
He winced as his eyes cracked open, trying to take in his surroundings. Seeing [Name]'s face right before his, he felt a sense of relief. "Can you get up?" She asked but he could barely hear her in the rain.
He grunted as he propped himself up with his elbows. He winced again when a sharp pain erupted from his wrist, gritting his teeth tightly. He was covered in mud with twigs and leaves poking at him uncomfortably. "Are you okay?" He croaked, trying to get a better look at her. However, without his glasses, he couldn't make out almost everything that wasn't in his face.
"Yeah," She answered, handing him his muddy glasses. He cursed and kept them in his pockets, knowing it would be of no use now. He looked around and picked up the flashlight by his side. Although it was dim, it was better than nothing, he concluded.
"We have to get away from the rain." He said as they both got on the feet. He nearly fell as pain flashed at his ankle. Thankfully, [Name] reached out to him, catching him before he could fall. "Damn," He cursed at his sprained ankle.
"Can you walk?" She asked, putting his arm around her shoulders while she supported him by snaking her arm around his back.
"I have to," He replied, trying to compress the pain. He directed the flashlight before them and they started walking. "There's a path," He motioned his head at the narrow mud trail without any grass growing out of it. "It might lead to an exit, or at least a shelter."
With that, they decided to follow down the trail, moving as fast as they could in the rain and the dark, also with their injuries. Tsukishima gritted his feet, forcing himself to push through while he leaned onto [Name] for support. He could feel [Name] trembling under his arms and that motivated him to find a way out quicker.
Just when the rain was starting to lighten up by a slight bit, their light source gave up on them. With the rain clouds hanging in the sky, there wasn't even moonlight to guide them. They were left in the darkness. Tsukishima cursed their terrible luck. "Can you still se the trail?" He asked.
