After a nice dinner, I told Alfred to deal with the boys (our kiddos) so I can take a nice bath and probably go to bed early.

Toinks! Hesusmaryosep! Just like what my Lola would say meaning unbelievable. Plus the sound coming out of her mouth ( Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!)
Which is exactly what I am doing right now.

One of the few things I dislike about Alfred sometimes is para bang tuod or pako. Pag sinabihan  or  inutusan  mo hindi naiingli. Instead, pasok sa kabilang teynga, labas  naman sa kabila. Para bang pako na hindi babaon, kung hindi mo  pupukpukin.
(Sarap sapakin!) (Peace!)

After a few long hours, the boys finally went to bed. I did not waste any more time and gave myself a nice, bubbly, bath which actually lasted for I would say an hour. It felt good and I really wouldn't wanna leave the tub. But then again, pagod na talaga ako.

Pag lapat ng likod ko sa malambot naming kama, ay hindi ko na napigilan pa ang antok. Unti-unting namigat ang talukipkip ng aking mga mata hanggang sa tuluyan na itong bumigay.

I woke up the next morning with a loud noise (the kiddos) coming from downstairs. I can hear Alfred trying to reason with the kids. I knew then that I had to get up and perform my duties. Habang pababa ako ng hagdanan ay nakikini -kinita ko na ang aking masisilayan.

Shocker! Early in the morning and few toys already on the floor. Cartons of milk and orange juice on the counter without the lid, dining table slightly spilled with milk and cereals, Jayson's face full of cereals, not fully dressed son (Nathan the middle)for school except Angelo (our eldest son).

Seriously! Hello! Do I really need to record myself reminding them every single day; Hey get dressed gonna be late for school, hurry up now! (Recorded in my head:-)) Thank God It's Friday! (T.G.I.F.) Buti na lang talaga. Sabay buntong hininga.

After our evereyday, morning scenario I wished them a great day with hugs and kisses before they left.

Finally, it's  just me and my baby boy Jayson. I pour me bowl of twix mix cereal with chocolate milk instead of regular milk. In every spoonful, I did pick up piece by piece everything that clutters the table and put the milk and juice lids back. The table is already clean and everything else is already in the dishwasher except my bowl of cereal and Jayson's.

Good thing it is easy to occupy a child's mind. In his not too little play area with tons of toys to play with  and the television on with educational toons show, he is happy.

Which means "Happy Baby, Happy Mommy". I can now continue on planning my near debut (big 30yrs.) Samantalahin habang busy pa si baby.

Kriiiiiinnnng!!!!
Our telephone rings. And every time it rings it never fails to make me jump. Kaloka! Kasi ba naman ang lakas - lakas and it sounded old (more like creepy!)

Anyway, so in three weeks to be exact, I'll be officially 30 years old. OMG! I'm getting old! (Lol) Time flies really fast...

I answered the phone.

"Hello!"

"Hello Mars! O ano ba, Saan ang party? "

"What party?"

"Ano ka ba naman, syempre  party mo."

"Timing ang tawag  mo Mars actually iniisip ko nga kung maghahanda pa ba me or kain na lang sa labas."

"Seryoso ka Mars? Ano ka ba naman once a year nga lang tayo magbibirthday eh. Tsaka I am craving for a yummy caldereta and bopis. The more reason para maghanda  ka. (Lol)"

"O sige na, sige na. Dito na lang sa bahay para hindi masyadong magastos."

"Kuripot! (Lol) I'm going to give our friend Olivia a call to cater for your birthday. Don't worry I'm going to ask her also na bigyan ka nang bonggang bonggang discount."

"Crazy woman! (Lols) O sige na babush! (means bye)

And that is how our telephone conversation ended.

Speaking of the party, there are lots of things to do. I'm not a fan of planning because usually when I do, it doesn't end as well as I planned it. That is why I think three weeks is enough. At least a week or two advance invitation would do, which gives me an idea. In our entire marriage life I have not step foot in my husband's  work place.Hmnnn....
I think it's a wonderful idea to surprise him. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Surely my mother in law would love to baby sit Jayson.

In less than an hour my mother in law came. She thinks it's a great idea visiting him at the office and that I should do it more often.

"Thanks Mom!"

You're welcome dear. Go ahead and take your time."

With too much excitement I giggled and quickly go on my way upstairs to get ready.

That is why I love my mother in law. I never had any problem with her. As a matter of fact, she is always there for me and shows nothing but her all the time support and kindness.

It's a good thing I already had taken a shower before my mother in law arrived. Now, all I have to do is change. Facing a life sized mirror I checked my image. I had my black and long wavy hair down, a light make-up and my favorite red wine lipstick. I'm glad I made the right choice of wearing a white with colorful floral in deep v-shape, knee high, sleeveless dress. Syempre pa we gotta show some cleavage di ba! A crop blazer in fringe detail co-ord to cover my shoulder and a mini floral shoulder bag that I bought at the mall to match my dress. And of course the golden wow glitter flat form pump shoes. It has been a long time since I wear high heeled shoes and I must admit it feels good but definitely sucks. I can feel my feet feeling uncomfortable already.  What the heck? Well, If I want to impress Alfred,  I must as well suck it up.   (Tadaaaaa!) O di ba feeling sexy and beautiful! Before heading downstairs I grab a pair of flat shoes just to wear when driving my way to hubby's office.

"Wow! My dear you look beautiful. I'm glad your feeling good about yourself and that your getting your confidence back. Good for you dear." My mother in law said while giving me a hug and rubbing my back at the same time..

"Thanks Mom!" I said while heading to the door.
