I awoke to the sound of metal clanking, the noise ringing loudly through my pounding head, making the pain unbearable. I wanted the noise gone, and now. Groaning I went to rub my tired eyes only to realises my hands couldn't reach my face. Metal handcuffs were attached tightly around my wrists preventing me from moving my hands from around my back. Confusion washed over me. What happened, oh my gosh where's Clay!? My eyes snapped open only to be met with darkness. I cursed under my breath wondering what mess I've gotten myself into. Then, all of my previous memories came flooding back into my head doing nothing to ease the pounding pain.
I can't believe I wasn't more careful, Clay could be anywhere. What if I lost him! My heart started beating faster. I need to get out of here.
Gazing around, my eyes adjusted to the dark space. I could slightly make out that I must be in a cell. The air smelled damp and dirty and there were no windows in sight. Pulling against my handcuffs I growled in frustration.
Gathering all the courage I could muster I shouted "LET ME OUT YOU BASTARD!" after receiving no instant reply I assumed that he mustn't of heard me.
A minute went past as I stared at the ground counting how many times I heard a water droplet fall to the floor. A sudden gust of wind whipped past me pushing my hair into my face. After shaking all the hair out of my face I was met with two red eyes about 2 inches from my own. I gasped in shock pressing my back to the brick wall behind me.
The owner of the red eyes stepped forward chuckling at my fear.
"You seem delighted to see me" he smirked leaning closer to me.
I sucked in a breath turning my head away from him so that he saw my cheek.
A hand reached out and roughly grabbed my chin, nails digging into my skin turning my face towards his. I winced in pain.
"Do I need remind you child that you shall always look at me when I am talking to you?" He snapped, his eyes boring into mine. I momentarily became dazed by his eyes, forgetting every worry that i mightve had. My mouth parted slightly and a sigh escaped my lips as i started to become entranced.
He chuckled darkly at my response to his heavy gaze "I'll take that as a yes" he released my chin pushing my face away harshly, making me snap out of my daze. Who is he? Why are his eyes so red? I tore my gaze back to his face wondering what he will do to me next. Not realizing I spoke aloud he replied "all in good time dear" as he walked out of my cell and up some old steps through a doorway which I only just noticed.
Letting out an exhausted breath I let my chin drop to my chest. I heard a bird chirp far away in the distance. It must be dawn, and one thing was for certain I have a strong feeling that creature won't be going outside till night comes by again. Sighing i shut my eyes slowely, feeling sleep start to soothe my mind. Well it looks like I'm going to be waiting a while for my fate.
