Gripping my pillow tightly I rubbed my face against the soft material, splaying my legs across the bed. Groaning i rolled over to my right. As i did so i felt myself falling, my face impacting with the cold wooden floor. "Oowwww" I whined. Sitting up right i frowned rubbing my face, how on earth did i manage to do that. Turning my head to left i looked up at my bed. Oh yeah, thats right i have the smallest bed you could possibly have. My body only just fitting the size.

I grabbed hold of the side of my bed lifting myself up, pushing against the matress as i stretched my body like a cat would after taking a nap. Once i was upright i yawned, feeling the pain from Master Vincents steel grip searing across my throat as i did so.

Massaging my throat, i adjusted my dress with my other hand pulling it down as it had ridden up during my sleep. Not knowing what to do i looked around my small empty room. There wasn't much to it besides a small bed in the right corner of the room against the wall, a bed side table where i stored my uniform, and sitting on top was a small lamp and my alarm clock. Ofcourse i didnt know what the outside looked like at all, there was no window either.

In the middle of re styling my hair into a more tidy ponytail i quickly glanced at the alarm clock seeing it read 10 am. From looking at the time my stomach decided to let out a loud rumble, i didnt realise how hungry i was, must be from the energy loss. Knowing that the vampires sleep on a nocturnal schedule i knew i was safe to venture downstairs into the kitchen.

I walked out of my room feeling a bit disorientated as i tried to keep my balance wearing these heels. Standing still for a split second I thought about just taking them off "Eh, what the heck" i shrugged bending down and slipping off my heels, throwing them onto my messy sheets. Shutting my door i padded down the hallway, the coldness of the wood soothing my aching feet. A grin made its way across my face as i realised i didnt need to worry about any bipolar vampires strutting around or hiding in dark corners. They were all sleeping, oblivious to what's happening around them.

Gliding into the kitchen, i made my way towards the pantry, opening the doors i smiled. Sandwhich time! I let go of one door and fist pumped the air before quickly dropping my hand to my side realising how weird that must of looked.

I don't usually get to make my own food, the cooks do and when they do we dont get the best of quality stuff. Looking around for the bread i finally found it, snatching it up from the shelf. I turned around and placed the bag onto the counter skipping over to the fridge looking for my fillings.

I squinted my eyes looking over the choice of food i picked out. Ham and chesse or Nutella? I narrowed it down to thoughs two and couldnt decide on either.

After about a minute of contemplating I finally went with Nutella.

After everything was back in the fridge I didn't use a plate, just incase it raised suspicion.

I walked out of the kitchen munching on my sandwhich, it tastes like heaven in my mouth! I moaned, I can't remember the last time I had something decent to eat.

I was about to go back upstairs to sleep but then I honestly don't think ill get this opportunity again because usually I'm so tired from working I sleep during these hours.

I was now standing at the end of the red carpet under the stairs and as I turned my head to my left I saw two huge glass doors. My feet started to move on their own accord towards the doors where the sunlight was blasting through, reflecting off the wooden floor.

I haven't seen the sunlight since the day I went scavaging for food with my brother. Thinking about my brother made me stop in my tracks and my heart ache, a tear slipped out of my eye but I hastily wiped it away. Now is not the time for tears Keira. I continued walking, coming closer and closer to the door a huge smile on my face growing bigger as I neared.
