Ch. 8 Do You Love Me?

Allie's POV

I was so confused with everything that was going on. I can't believe Alex would get Austin involved in this big mess. And Austin hit Cory. Okay, I am kind of happy he hit Cory, but he could have gotten hurt. I grabbed my car keys and drove to Austin's house. I pulled into his driveway and went up to the door. I knocked and on the door and Robert, Austin and Alex's friend, opened the door. "Can I come in?" I asked him. "I guess so. Me and Austin were just playing video games in the living room." Robert replied. I walked into the living room and saw Austin on the couch. "Who was that at the door?" Austin said as he turned around. "Oh, it's you." Austin said upset as he looked at me. "Can we please talk in private?" I asked him. "I guess so. Lets go to my room." He said. I followed him upstairs to his room and shut his door as we walked into the room. "Speak." He said sounding annoyed. "I just came over to see why you are so pissed. What happened between you and Cory that you are mad at me?" I snapped at him. I could see the anger build up on his face as he began to speak. "You know why I am so mad. Because Cory said you two had sex and you told me you never had sex before when I asked if you guys did it." Austin said with anger filling his voice. "He told you?" I said calmly trying to make the situation better. "Damn right, he told me. He also told me you slept with other guys in the past." Austin said now yelling at me. It was true. I only had sex with two guys, once with Cory and once with Cory's friend, Ryan, just to get Cory jealous. I was afraid to tell Austin because I thought he would just think I am a whore and he wouldn't want to be with me. But, I guess I made things worse by lying to him. "It's true. I had sex twice before, but I didn't want to tell you because I thought you wouldn't want me." I said as I began to cry. "So you thought it was okay to lie to me. I love you, Allie. And yet you lied to me and made me look like a fool to Cory because you lied. I defended you because of the things he said, but it looks like they are true." Austin said with tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry, Austin. I love you too. Please forgive me." I said as I cried. "Sorry can't fix everything in seconds, Al. Just give me some time to think things out." Austin said as he started to calm down again. "Okay." I said quietly. "I think you should leave now." Austin said as he held back tears. "Bye then. I love you." I said as I walked out of his room and out the front door. I got in my car and began to cry even harder. I drove home and went to my room. Thank god Alex wasn't home to ask me questions. I just need time to clean myself up and cry more.

Austin's POV

Allie left my room. Seeing her cry breaks my heart, but she broke mine when she lied to me. She knew I had trust issues with the girls I dated in the past. I thought she was the only girl I could trust, but she broke that trust by lying to me. I love her with all my heart, but who's to say if I go back to her if she will lie to me again or not. I just need time to sort all my thoughts out.
