Ch. 4 Morning After

I woke up the next morning. I was thinking about all that had happened last night at prom. Austin kissed me and then prom ended and he took me home. I have to tell Alex that Austin kissed me, but I know Alex will freak out. I decided I don't have to tell Alex because nothing more happened. It's not like me and Austin are dating, it was just a kiss. I grabbed my phone from my night stand and turned it on. I had one new text message from Austin. It said "Hey Al. Wanna hang out today? Maybe we can get coffee or something." Oh god. Austin is asking me on a date. I definitely have to tell Alex about this. I texted Austin back saying "Sure. Meet me at Starbucks for 12pm." I decided to get out of bed and shower. I got a shower and blow dried my hair. I was going to leave my hair natural, so I didn't bother doing anything else to it. I then got dressed in a pink tank top that said Live, Love, Laugh on it. And I put on white jean shorts. I add some mascara and then left. I saw Austin siting at a table already, so I got a coffee and then sat down next to him. "Hey, Allie. What's up?" Austin said. "Hi. Nothing much. I had fun last night." I responded. Austin then said "Me too. Look about that kiss...." I cut him off and said "It was great." "Really?!?!" He said excitedly. "Really." I said. "Al, will you be my girlfriend?" Austin asked me. "Yes. I would love to be your girlfriend." I said. And with that we just talked about random stuff until Austin had to go meet up with Alex. Damn, I hope he doesn't tell Alex about us. My brother would freak out if Austin told him instead of me. I left Starbucks hoping to make it home before Alex left to meet Austin. I got home just as Alex was about it leave. "Wait, Alex!" I yelled. "What is it Al? I am in a hurry." Alex snapped at me. Well, someone was grumpy. "Me and Austin are dating." I said and then I run inside before he could say anything else. I heard his car start up and leave. I hope he isn't too mad about me and Austin.
