Ch. 9 Stay with me

Allie's POV

Next Morning

I woke up around 9:30am and grabbed my phone off the nightstand. I was hoping for a text message or call from Austin saying that he still wants to be with me, but unfortunately there wasn't. I wonder what is going through his mind. Does he still love me? And worse of all do I love him? I know. I know. I told him I loved him, but I am not actually sure if I love him. I mean I have never been in love before, well Atleast I don't think I have. Sure I told Cory I loved him when we were dating, but I never actually felt love. And the worst part is Austin said he loved me and I know he meant it. He probably won't love me anymore though. I am such a terrible girlfriend. I need someone to talk to about all this. Maybe I could talk to my mom. She did give me good advice about me and Cory. I got out of bed and walked down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen that smelled like toast. I saw my mom standing by the stove making breakfast. "Hey mom. Can I talk to you about something." I said to her. "Sure honey" she replied joyfully. And so I told her the story about me and Austin. "Well, honey. You know that saying that if you love something let it go and if it comes back its yours, but if it doesn't then it wasn't meant to be." My mom said to me. "Yeah, sure." I responded. "If Austin really loves you, then he will forgive you and if he doesn't forgive you, then he never loved you and it isn't meant to be." My mom said. Maybe she had a point. I shouldn't lie because I am scared of what he will say. If he loves me he will forgive me and if he doesn't then why waste my time. "Thanks mom for the advice." I said happily. I knew I should have talked to her before.

Austin's POV

I didn't sleep all night because of the whole situation. I need to talk to Allie. I know I had trust issues before, but I actually love Allie. Those other girls just used me for fame. Tonight I have to talk to Allie. We need to work this thing out.
