A/N: Hi guys! Before you read, I have a little announcement here. So in the latest chapter of Turning Tables, I asked you guys whether I should change the cast of Blaine or not since lots of you guys have messaged me about the guy who plays Blaine and how he doesn't suit that role. So the majority of you told me to change the cast, and now I think I have found the perfect guy.

I'm sorry guys if it's rather short >_< But I swear in the next chapter, there will be some juicy scenes ;)

The new Blaine. If he's still not cute enough for you guys, then I don't know who will be à

"Be my mate for a month. I will show you what a were will do to their mate."

It feels like my blood vessels are about to burst when I hear his inappropriate offer. I got mixed feeling from that only.

"What?" I sputter out in shock a few minutes later when I finally can regain my composure.

"Be my mate for a month," he repeats his offer slowly like he's talking to an imbecile.

"What do you mean exactly by being your mate?" I ask carefully as I'm not really sure the meaning behind his offer.

He gives me that famous arrogant smirk of his again, the smirk that sometimes I want to punch off his face. Though the possibility of me breaking my knuckles is bigger than the chance I bruise up his face.

"Like I said before, a were's mate is the most crucial part of their life. We basically can't live without our mate once we find them."

"And by being your mate, I have to..." I let my sentence trail off, giving him the chance to explain more.

"Mating is equivalent with marriage in human's society. Except mated couples don't get divorce," he explains patiently, "so by being my mate for month, basically you'll act as my wife during that period of time."

I almost choke on my own breath upon hearing him casually mentioning me being his wife.

"Excuse me? Why should I be the wife and not you?" I bristle angrily, getting out of point I know.

Anders raises his eyebrow in amusement, seeing me getting angry over his wife comment.

"What's wrong with being a wife?"

"There is nothing wrong with being a wife! Unless if the husband is you!"

Anders only leans back into the wall, crossing his arms while smirking like a wolf. Seriously, his smirk resembles a wolf so much that there's no denying his true nature as a werewolf.

"So, are you going to accept my offer or not? Don't tell me you're afraid to do that. You're scared that you'll fall for me, aren't you?"

Of course my first reaction will be no. Who wants to torture themselves by voluntary becomes the mate of Anders Thorpe? But then I hear the hidden challenge in his offer. It's like he dares me to be his mate. And I'm not a person who backs down from a challenge.

"I'm not scared! And I can guarantee you that I won't fall for you, you arrogant jerk!"

It takes me back a little when instead of seeing him all disappointed for I won't back down, his smiles actually turns even wider. He looks so much like a predator now with his wolfish smirk that I find myself take a step back from him.

"Good. So that means you'll be my mate for a month," he tells me before he adds, "and that's starting from now."

I'd find the sound of the squeal that I let out mortifying if I weren't too shocked by Anders' sudden movement. He moves so fast that I'm suddenly being snatched into his arms.
