Blaine's POV

"You! Let him go this instant! You've promised me not to kidnap anyone ever again!" A young male human with flaming red hair suddenly ambushes us.

My ears perk up when I hear someone yell at Anders. Finally, a person that doesn't treat him as if he were God or something. I quickly try to scramble off Anders' back as I want to see the brave person and gives him a medal, but the stupid were only tightens his hold on me. I can only see a flash of fiery red hair before my vision gets blocked by Anders' head.

"What are you doing out here? Where's Jack?" Anders replies calmly.

"He's been busy skyping and gossiping with his friends since the news about you claiming a mate spread like a wildfire yesterday." He glares at Anders accusingly.

"I'm sure Ethan wouldn't be happy if he knew his brother doesn't look after you as he should."

"Ethan can kiss his ass."

Whoa. I like him even more.

"You can tell him that by yourself if you go back to your place and call him. Comeon, I'll walk you there." Anders walks slowly towards the guy as if he were approaching a cornered animal.

"No! Stop there or I'll scream! I won't go back willingly to my cage!"

"You've screamed often enough since Ethan took you here that I think no one will pay attention," Anders says dryly, "come on, I won't even tell Ethan that you wander around while he's away if you go back to your place right now with me."

"I'm not going anywhere before I talk with your mate!"

I'm so frustrated with the way Anders handles this situation. It's clear that this guy doesn't want to go back home, so why does he keep pestering him to do that. It's time to make my presence known.

"Put me down, you stupid were! I want to have a word with him!" I hit Anders' head to emphasize my point, but he probably doesn't feel a thing what with his thick skull. To my surprise, Anders actually loosens his grip on me and puts me down.

"Fine. You two will meet each other sooner or later anyway. It's better that you two talk when I'm around." Anders lets out a deep sigh as I slide down his back and face my unsung hero for the first time.

"RILEY? RILEY PARKER?" I gasp in shock when I realize that the boy is no other than Riley Parker, my senior in high school who suddenly stop going to school. "Where have you been? What are you doing here? And since when you dyed your hair? It looks cool!" Of course I didn't recognize him as Riley Parker in the beginning. The guy's blonde hair has gone, and now it's replaced by a fiery red hair.

"You know me? How?" He looks surprised as I ramble on and on about his sudden disappearance, "Oh and I dyed my hair as soon as I found out that blonde is Ethan's type. It annoys him to no end."

"I'm Blaine! We went to the same high school! We were in the same biology class, but then you stopped going all of sudden. Rumours said that you were taken by a stupid were!" I send Anders an angry glare as if he had been the one who have kidnapped Riley.

A bitter smile twists Riley's beautiful face. His tearful eyes betray the angers in his eyes.

"Uh oh, don't you cry while I'm present. Ethan will think that it has something to do with me, and he will tear me to pieces," Anders says with a pleading tone.
