Phoenix's POV
I pace the quarantine area I've been put in until my shoulder heals. I can't believe it. First I get kidnapped, then I get turned into a FREAKING DINOSAUR, THEN MY SHOULDER GETS RIPPED APART BY ONE OF MY 'FELLOW' RAPTORS, AND NOW I'M BEING ISOLATED!! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MY MESSED UP LIFE?
"Where are we going Mum? Mum? MUM! COME BACK! I pound through the streets chasing her, but she's gone. And then it hits me. I'm alone.
The solitude is painful. Years of surviving on meager scraps.
Hands grab me, pushing, pulling , suffocating. "STOP!" I scream, but no one hears.
I wake up with a jolt, my eyes snapping open. I haven't had that dream since I was 12. But now it's got a new addition.
I was abandoned by my mother when I was 9. A homeless woman took me in, but she was killed by a group of teenagers when I was thirteen. There was nothing I could do but scream. I'm 18 now.
