Jurassic World- She's part Raptor.

Chapter4

Owen's POV.
This morning, as I go over to the Raptor enclosure, taking in the considerable amount they've grown in just 3 days (they're now half a meter tall) I see another man and a younger child, about 14 years old walking somewhere. I dismount and park the bike and approach the man. He's dark skinned and quite tall with short black hair. The girl is slightly fairer with brown-black hair down to just above her shoulders. As I come closer, I see that she's more strongly built than I anticipated. Extending my hand, I introduce myself, first to the man and then the teen. He has a good grip. The confidence in the air that seems to emerge from him tells me that he must be here.
"Hello, I'm Barry, and this is my daughter, Saffi," he replies, with an accent I can't really place.
"So are you also training a Raptor pack?"
"Yes, do you want to see them?"
"Sure"
We walk to the other Raptor enclosure, which was about a kilometre away from this one.
"So, are you here for the holidays then?" I ask, turning to Saffi.
"Yeah, I go wanted to see the Raptors, they're pretty cool, so Dad said I could come here in the holidays and see them. It also provides much needed time away from my siblings."
"How many siblings do y'have?"
"Too many," she let's out a little laugh, "Do you have any?"
"No, but I did have a dog," I say with a smirk, "German Shephard."
"That's cool, I have two Staffys" We walked in silence for a bit.
"You're bike's pretty cool,"
"Thanks, it was a gift from my mother. "
"We're here," exclaims Barry. It's the same structure as mine, containing five Raptors like mine. They're also about half a metre tall.
"This is K2, Terrier, Collie, Lufy and Kady. We named them after dogs because Saffi adores them," says Barry.
"They're really nice colours." It was true. They seemed so vibrant. I think they may be a bit more genetically modified than my Raptors, but that's alright, I don't trust genetics.
"Yeah that's true. Only just realized it."
As we walk back to my enclosure, I think about the events of the past day. I'm gonna get on well with Barry and Saffi.
