It's been a week since I've moved in with Jesús and waking up next to him has kind of become normal for me.

I rolled over and expected to see Jesús lying there, but he wasn't. I got out of bed and slipped on one of his sweatshirts, before walking down the stairs.

I yawned, "Good morning."
"Why're you up so early?"
"Huh," I rubbed my eyes.
"Kristine, go back to bed."
"Why, what time is is?"
"Like six in the morning."
"What the hell. Why are you up?"
"Training," he said, drinking some water.
"Oh... Can I come?"
"I don't know if that's such a good idea."
"Why not."
"You really want to get ready this early and wait two hours for me?"
"Why not!"

He laughed and shook his head. I bounded up the stairs to go take a quick shower. I rubbed the shampoo into my scalp, conditioned my hair, and lathered my body in soap.

When I got out, I put on a pair of black leggings, a cozy sweater, and the worn out running shoes I owned.

"Ready?"
He nodded, "Let's go."

We got into his car and drove to where his training was. I was a bit nervous to see all the other Manchester City players, I thought it'd be weird. Although, I was looking forward to meeting Joe.

When we got to the field, there was a whole bunch of stuff set up. Jesús left me to sit on the bench and ran over to his teammates who surrounded and greeted him.

"Hey, Jesús' got a girlfriend!" Some tall guy wearing a goalkeepers uniform yelled while pointing at me. I assumed that was Joe.

All the guys got all hyped up and I swear I was blushing so bad. They were shoving him back towards me and maybe this is why he didn't want me coming. Damn, should've just slept in.

He pretty much got thrown over to me. Jesús put one hand on my thigh, "Don't worry about them, ok?"

I nodded my head and smiled. The training was pretty boring for me. I just say and watched them train. I got the occasional stare or smirk from one of his teammates. I would always just roll my eyes at them.

When practice came to an end, someone came up to me.

"Hey there. I'm Sergio."
"Call me, Kris."
"You must be Jesús' new love interest."

I didn't really know what to say, so I kind of froze up. I clenched my hand in a fist trying to think of what to say. Luckily, Jesús came in between us and wrapped an arm around me, taking me away.

"No she's not, Sergio. Go away."
"Hey guys, look!" Sergio snickered as he got all the guys to look at us.
Joe yelled something, "He's got himself a girlfriend!"
Jesús calmly said, "No."
"Not yet!" Joe then screamed.
"Come on, let's go, Kristine."

We were just about to leave when we were called back.

"Hey, Jesús!"
He turned, "What?!"
"Dinner tonight, you coming?"
"Uh, yeah."
"See you then."
"Alright."

We left and got into the car which was like a weight had been lifted off my chest.

"Who was that?"
"Who?"
"The guy who invited us to dinner?"
"Us? No, me."
"Why just you?"
"You really want to go after what just happened?"
"Sure..." I half smiled.
"You're crazy," he said.
"So who was that guy?"
"Vincent."
"Oh ok. I met this guy Sergio, too."
"That's it?"
"And I think I know who Joe is. Joe Hart? He's the goalkeeper, right?"
"Yeah."

We drove home and the rest of the day was pretty relaxing until we needed to get ready.

"Ok, I'm going upstairs."
"Me too, going to take a shower."

While Jesús was in the shower, I looked through what options I had. I was definitely not going to wear the red dress. The only other one that'd be good was a plain black one. It'd have to do for tonight.

I had just thought of shoes to wear, when Jesús came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist.

"Woah, uh," he said, looking at me.
"What? Does it not look good? Oh my god..."
"No- you... You look beautiful."
I smiled, "Thank you. Do you think red heels will match? Because those are the only nice ones I have."
"It'll look good."
"Ok."

We basically switched. Jesús went to get changed in the bedroom, while I went into the bathroom to put on my makeup. I put on eyeliner with mascara, then added a darker eyeshadow.

Next, was hair. I curled it for a change because my hair was naturally straight, so some curls would switch it up.

I came back into the bedroom to find Jesús wearing a blue dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He wore black pants and had an expensive looking watch on his left wrist.

"Nice."
He smiled, "Ready?" I nodded, "Let's go."
