The next morning I woke up and my head was pounding. I found myself half naked sleeping in some strangers bed. He was shirtless and had his arms wrapped tightly around me. I wasn't quite sure what happened last night, but from the evidence in the room, I'm pretty sure he had taken advantage of me.

I sat up straight which made the pain in my head worse. I looked for my dress, but that was covered in vomit. Great. I couldn't remember anything and I had nothing to wear. I figured I had a few too many drinks and ended up in this guy's house.

I needed to get home.

This guy's arms were still around me. His head rested on my stomach. He moaned into my skin.

"Kris..."

Don't get me wrong, he was hit and his morning voice was sexy, but he was a complete stranger. I tried getting up, but he held me down.

"Going so soon?"
"I- I should be going..."
"Hmm... Not yet."

I climbed on top of me and roughly pressed his lips against mine. He practically fell on top of me, crushing my body. Next thing I knew, he was fast asleep again. I squirmed out from under him and pushed his sleeping body off of mine. I opened his closet and "borrowed" a sweatshirt and sweatpants from him. I then grabbed my phone and ran out.

I dialled Jess' phone, "I feel like crap, whoever this is call back later ok?"
"It's Kris."
"What do you want," she complained.
"A ride."
"To where."
"My flat."
"You mean his flat."
I just remembered about him, "Ugh, yes his flat."
"Hold on, I'm coming."

I texted her the street I was on and waited at a corner. She said she knew the location and would be right over. Soon enough, she arrived and invited me in. It looked like she had just woken up because she was still in her tight, little party dress from last night.

"You look sick... Like not in a good way," she said to me.
"You don't look too well either, are you sure you're ok to drive?"
"Fine. What happened?"
"Like I remember. I took. Your advice, I got real drunk and look how that turned out."
"What happened..."
"Ended up in some guy's bed with my dress in a pool of vomit. Not a very pleasant sight."
"So you've got another man now?" She was grinning.
"Hell no, that was just a one night stand. I don't even remember it anyway."
"Did it help?"
"Barely."
"Oh well, last night was awesome though, but my head kills."
"Same, I don't even know how much I had to drink. I wasted all my money though."
"How much did you even bring?!"
"Don't know, but it sure put a dent in the stack that Jesús gave me."
"Think he'll be mad when he comes back?"
"If he comes back."

Jess dropped me off and I thanked her for the ride. I stepped into the flat and went straight up to take a shower. The first thing I did was take off his clothes. Oh my fucking god what the hell is in the mirror. Wait, that's my reflection, duh. I look like shit. Oh my...

I was lost for words. The bags under my eyes were pretty much purple and matched the large number of hickeys I had all over my body. On my neck, my stomach, my thighs. Then there was my tangled hair that was poorly pulled back into a ponytail and had what I assumed to be my vomit stuck in it. I was a gross, disgusting mess. I couldn't stand to look at myself anymore, so I got into the shower. I washed everything from last night away.

When I stepped out, the cold air hit me. The hot water coming from the shower was much warmer. As fast as I could, I stepped out to grab my towel. I put the towel around me like a cloak, and dried myself off.

Last night was terrible. I couldn't recall any of it which made it even scarier. I had no idea what had happened to me.

I missed Jesús. It was the truth. It's been so long now, that he probably will never come back. Not all relationships work out. Maybe I was just part of his plan or something. He's probably with another women.

I tried one last time to get his attention, "Jesús, are you there? Can you please come home."

I stared at my phone screen, hoping that I would get a reply. I waited and there was nothing. I shut my phone off, but even then, I still stared at the blackness. I looked at my reflection which was hideous. I wished that my phone would vibrate and light up, letting me know that I have a new message from Jesús, but that only happened in my imagination sadly.

Suddenly, my phone light up. Oh my god.

"Hello? Hello!"
"Kris."
I sighed. It was only Alyssa on the other end of the phone, "Oh, hey..."
"I heard from Jess. What the hell happened to you?"
"I- I wish I could tell you, but I don't know..."
"Did you get home alright?"
"I'm home right now."
"Good..."
"It's always a bad idea going out, nothing good comes from it!"
"You just had a bad experience."
"Sure... I'm never doing anything like that ever again."
"Alright, next time we go, you don't have to come. Or instead, we'll go to a movie or something. How's that sound?"
"I like that better."
"Well, I'm already late, so I've got to clean myself up now."
"Yeah, yeah."
"See you. Oh and go look for a job, you know? Find some place."
"Ok, talk later?"
"Of course."
"Bye, love you."
"I love you too."

What was I doing with my life... Honestly... Maybe it was time for me to leave and forget Jesús... For good.
